Thanks a lot for the praise. Yeah, the endnotes are from someone who found and is in the process of translating the journal left by Malik. As for the writing style, I am simply doing what it feels right for me in the chosen genre. I don't expect to win anyway, so I am just giving it a try and using this as a chance to improve.
