You weren't kidding when Akio would confess soon (although not the thing I was expecting :] ).
Jokes aside, it was pretty big of Akio to tell Yuki about his fear of cats, no doubt making the two become even closer. It's something he honestly needed to say, before confessing.
I do wonder what his plan is going to be, but we'll just have to wait and see.
