I wished I had more time and gave more space to the characters, but I learned about the contest late and I did my best with the little time I had.

Ps: I absolutely have to finish your story too, because I need to know what happens to Claire and Jun T_T

I'm really glad you like Dia! 😊 It wasn't easy to insert her into the story without upsetting the balance between Candace and Daren, and I think in the end her presence did both of them good.

Daren and Candace still have a little way to go before they truly understand each other, but now Daren has decided to be on Candace's side and trust her... we'll see if it was the right decision, not everything is as it seems. ..
At least, Jared and Eldan give us some satisfaction 😌

Absolutely nothing non-consensual, it wouldn't be Daren's style. Let's say he's a bit like a child who is discovering love and doesn't quite know what to do, which is why he sometimes gets involved to the point where he doesn't quite understand what he's doing. 😩

I like Toren, but let's hope he doesn't hinder Jun too much :D I also liked their "date" a lot hahaha 🤣 I'm curious if we'll have a love triangle...🤔

Another thing I love is that Jun says he has to commute with the trees everytime he has to talk to Claire! It's brilliant! 🤣

And by the way… I'm concerned about the foreshadowing of chapter 8… Let's hope our Claire is safe and sound at the end of the story… I love her too much 😢🙏

I'm glad you liked that scene! 🙏 II tried to write it as best I could, because I wanted to make the contrast between Candace's beauty and personality with infernal traits and the purity that sometimes she seems to emanate. In this she and Daren are kind of opposites (Daren has a nordic beauty, with light hair and eyes and a calm and aloof personality, while exuding a cruel aura at times).

Candace is definitely fit to be Empress (and Daren is starting to think so too...👀 )

Enemies to lovers is always a wonderful trope to write. I don't know if their dynamic is coming off well and if the readers are able to understand how they're building their bond... but writing about them is actually fun. ^^

As for Candace's powers, we'll know more in due time, but she sure is very, very powerful :D
