I've been a little bit busy today(I'm moving tomorrow so I've been packing today haha) so I apologize for all my replies being slow. ^^;; I did read all your comments though, and I appreciate them a lot! I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far and thank you for following me on Instagram! I'll probably post the cover art pieces for each chapter on Instagram sometime soon.
Though I do enjoy writing things that are a bit dark, I also like to add some sense of realism if possible. Life is full of both good and bad times, and I try my best to make sure I show that in my stories when I can. Plus it does kinda give a bonus effect of feeling like the calm before the storm, which is fun to write. Over all, I love writing the internal power struggle of characters not being able to decide whether they love or hate life, because they can see the both the best and worst the world has to offer them. Life is a precious gift full of experiences with people we love, but sometimes it may feel like a curse when things go wrong. Successfully conveying the struggles of fighting against inner demons and the darkest parts of the mind is something I hope and strive to achieve in my work if possible.
I still have to post the final chapters (There are 17 chapters in this side story total, they are all written but I just have to find the time to proofread them), but I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story when you get around to reading it. I'll definitely check out your story! ☆ I read the prologue during a short break I took from packing earlier but I'll definitely read more! Thanks again!
