A beta reader here, so you're free to take my opinion here with a grain of salt as it could be laden with no less than plethora of cognitive biases, but I was seriously beyond impressed by the writing here. There are certainly areas for improvement, but they're almost undetectable in the grand scheme.
Might look like the author is trying way too hard to sink in the "arty" look and envelop it with it, but there's substance behind it. It lives up to what it sets from expectations.
