Ok, I think I'm finally starting to understand how the world is laid out now lol. I know it was kinda already explained to us at the start but it seems to be that every city has expanded to a point where each city is practically combined together into a single metropolis. The name of each metropolis is decided by combining the names of the two of the most influential cities in a region, and each "sector" is where the old cities that got swallowed up into the metropolis used to be. I actually really like this concept because it's fun trying to guess which cities you mashed together, like Amsterlin is obviously Amsterdam and Berlin, Shanghaijing is Shanghai and Beijing, and Tokoysaka is Tokyo and Osaka. I'm also going to guess that since Gran Andes is South America (based off the Andes Mountains being mentioned in this chapter), that Rio de Brasilia is Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia.
