Hi! Just for clarification:
(** SPOILERS AHEAD **)
In the original timeline, it was Haruto who caused the Veil to tear, triggering the collapse of reality and the death of Yukawa’s family. Ever since, Yukawa has been chasing him to make him suffer.
Haruto’s story across timelines is fragmented and tragic:
In some, he sacrifices Ren to try and save the world. In others, he marries Aiko, or watches her vanish. Each loop carries a different failure.
In the penultimate timeline, Haruto becomes a test subject in the Veil experiments at Sanctuary Seven — fractured, stripped of identity, manipulated by Asahi and others, also led by the same Yukawa.
And in this final loop — the last desperate attempt — everything unravels.
The truth is revealed.
And it’s Ren who finally puts it all to rest.
