I'm thrilled to know that I kinda broke a record by having you write the longest comment on HF so far, haha!
I haven't started reading Mr. Atlas, yet. I've learnt that it's your contest entry. Planning to read it, too. Congrats to you that it's one of the most-read novels :)
How/Why did you start writing on Honeyfeed, btw, if I may ask? Mm, I'm kinda new to the platform. I was active on another online writing platform (not sure if I can write it here). Still exploring HF at the moment for some light reads. What I like about a platform like this is that I can interact more closely with the authors directly. Writers like you and many others are very friendly and responsive here, which is quite a nice interactive experience for readers.
I can also tell that you're a vivid reader (from our brief correspondence on Herman Hesse). Reading, for me, is fun, but writing makes/forces me listen to my voice. Listening to our own voice(s) could be challenging. Writers usually have noisy minds (or is it just me?). How to filter out the noises and "craft" things with structure is my current weakness in writing. I once received some feedback, asking me not to read too much. Because reading too much means having too much knowledge intake, which adds too much complexity to my writing. "People nowadays can't handle complex, abstract stuff". What's your opinion on the current light novel/manga community's level of acceptance towards abstract content?
