Damnnnn. Talk about my interest piquing--hell of a motive! Love all the bits of worldbuilding that we've gotten throughout, but especially here. So curious as to what that black box does...

I'm close enough to the end so I'll say now that I've enjoyed reading this ^-^ I really feel like your improvement as the chapters go on is really visible and I'm finding myself more and more invested in each and every character the more we see them. Looking forward to more!
I'd like to think that not knowing what mayo even looks like is the hallmark of a real chef. No wonder Linda compliments him years down the line!
