he isn't really a spin on lancer at all. he's not that important to the plot because he's not really the main villain. as you can see being hinted at. he won't be making a return after arc 1. but the actual main villain of this arc will return in a later arc for Lisa's further development.
also I originally wrote this on webnovel and it's a lot more edited up there. I really should edit it here too but I'll admit I'm pretty lazy with that.
now I should tell you Jack isn't just a carbon copy of shirou, he's definitely based on him but he's also a lot more messed up in a way, and also at a certain point I do plan on having him act more like a Korean manwa protagonist. (but that's in part 2)
but then he'll go through a lot of trauma and in arc 3 he'll be dealing with that. I'd say arc 1 is the light hearted shonen part of the story, part two is gonna be a more mature one like a Korean manwa mixed with buffy the vampire slayer and Harry Potter, and the final arc is full on high fantasy... I won't spoil it too much but I'll say the last part will take place almost exclusively in hollow earth. (I'm assuming you know this already) but now. ok. I wanna know what do you think of the world building so far, and also the relationship between Jack and Lisa.
