I really like your story so far and I am looking forward to continue reading it. It found it was - at least in this chapter - kind of difficult to read the dialogue and unsterstand who is talking when. Besides this, you got a good start:The protagonist gets shelter and food by a group of people who claim to know him. I am looking forward to see if this is actually true.

I really like how connect Akiko to the other world through the assault. There was just one thing that bugged me: It makes sense for a panicked teenage girl to try to call her parents first, but when she asks herself who else she could call, there should be one thing in her mind: the police.
