Mmm the story is really interesting and so far I’ve only read this first chp but I absolutely loved the scene where Captain Akira talks about his locker after this I'm out this would be the last one that line captured both his exhaustion and quiet hope so beautifully on one hand there are his decommission papers and a picture of the farm he dreams of and on the other the battlefield and his duty I could almost see that farm through his eyes a life where he no longer has to lead anyone just live peacefully with his family. It was such an emotional moment not overly dramatic which made it feel all the more real
