I just finished reading the prologue and will continue the rest later. It feels quite atmospheric, I think it’s pretty good. I can sense a historical aura with a touch of something dark in the story, and that’s what stood out to me.
Some parts, like the dialogue being merged into a single paragraph instead of starting a new line, made it a bit tricky to read. This is really up to the author’s preference, but I’d strongly recommend switching lines using Shift + Enter when continuing dialogue from the same speaker.
Also, the final line “A land of beasts awaits you!” felt like something you might find in a shonen story. It’s not bad, perhaps just a matter of differing taste, but if it were me, I’d consider changing it to something with a more melancholic tone, something that hints at separation, doubt, or something dark.
