I'll be honest. It's surreal being done with this story.
For anybody who read this, thank you. Seriously. Seeing that there was still at least one consistent reader for my chapters was what really kept me going.
This story isn't entirely what I wanted it to be, but it worked out better than it should have for how much I rushed it. There are so many things about the world and the other characters I wasn't able to go into, but if this story is popular and there is some fan demand, I'd love to write spinoff stories. They could explore the Four Generals, Six, Deuce, Charlie, and even the now-ex-King himself. I'd especially love to write about Hinata and his adventures with Lilin, and how the King took over despite Hinata being summoned to this world and having overwhelming fire powers. I want to talk about the magic system (as groundless as it is), and what those monsters were before the Demon King's rule. There's so much left unanswered, but I hope you enjoyed Annie's story!!

Hey, readers! I'm just posting this comment here for anybody reading along to notify you that my chapter output for the next few days is gonna be lower. I'm in the process of moving, so for about a week or two, I'll be trying to get out one or two chapters a day. Once I'm settled, I'll be going for more consistent triple uploads again!

Well, I saw that there was a light novel contest for the Isekai genre, and I just had to participate. I've been in love with the isekai genre since I discovered it a few years back, and I've always wanted to write stories from it! I just always felt like the genre's tropes were restricted. A lot of the Isekai ideas I've had specifically aim to subvert those tropes, especially with the person who gets Isekai'd. This story is no different! I fell in love with the idea quickly, and appreciate the friends who told me to go for it. Hopefully I can meet the deadlines to get this submitted on time!
