I've always loved liminal spaces and the feeling you get from looking at them, trying my best at recreating that somewhat odd nature in this story
Interesting premise, although I feel the synopsis throws a lot of people off. Sure it sounds cool in concept and would work for well known authors, but to new readers it doesn't tell them anything about the story and why they should read it, instead perhaps appearing to them as "trying to be edgy"
