Wow, this chapter surprised me in the best way. The pacing really picked up, and I loved how Kade’s wonder turned to trouble so quickly. The way his magic revealed itself felt organic and visceral, and the reaction from the guards and the crowd added so much tension. Also, the contrast between the red-haired woman and the man in crimson was great; they both feel powerful, but in very different ways. That final moment, where Kade smiles even as he's cuffed, was such a strong closing beat. It really drives home that this is just the start of something huge. Can't wait to see where it goes from here!
