I really liked this first chapter..... it’s heavy, but the dialogue flows so naturally. The mix of dark humor and real emotion works really well, and the characters already feel layered and interesting. I love the mystery around her, it’s subtle, but intriguing, and their connection feels unique. Honestly, I’m hooked already. Can’t wait to see where it goes next. :)

Really loved this first chapter! Leiyu’s such an interesting character, and the mix of action, magic, and culture pulled me right in. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
