Certainly throws you in the deep end. Was a little hard to get a sense of scale and layout of where they were running through but I suppose that could be part of the off balance experience of the main character. Shame we lost Locu already, I was kinda interested in what this "soul connection" thing was going to be. Figured it'd probably be that they were siblings or lovers before they died. Maybe Nia will find out later. I wonder if Uda felt any connection to the two guys she was with. Maybe she'll be a recurring character on this journey. Interesting that Nia knows they died and seems to have an intuitive sense this place is called "The Dream". I wonder if that'll be brought up in follow-on chapters.
Too early to say if I'm enjoying it yet but I'll keep reading onwards. 👍
