As a self-taught student of Catholic theology, I really enjoy reading stories — especially ones written in first-person narration like this. I often find myself reflecting on them through the lens of my faith, letting Catholic thought and tradition deepen my understanding of the themes. From the introduction and first chapter, I get the impression that some elements may touch on ideas similar to Pelagianism or Gnosticism. I could be mistaken, of course, and I’m curious to see how it develops. Either way, I appreciate the chance to read along and learn — both from the story itself and from seeing where it resonates or diverges from the truths of the faith.
