Queen Yumi might already be my favorite character. She radiates that calm-but-dangerous maternal divinity. You can tell she’d destroy creation just to keep him breathing.
I actually teared up. Ray felt real. His lines, his warmth, his quiet sadness, it’s like everyone’s had a “Ray” in their life that they didn’t save. That “Tomorrow never came.” hit like a knife.
