He’s shelving existence. This whole story is cosmic librarianship disguised as war. That’s such a terrifyingly elegant concept.
This chapter felt like a full anime episode cold open, rising action, lore break, final twist. The pacing was clean. It ended exactly when it needed to, with that “Snap.” I legit gasped at that last word.
World-building is impressive
I could watch this as an opening episode right now. Scene one: thunder and rebirth. Scene two: Heaven panorama shot with orchestral vocals. Scene three: baby Haise grinning at a god. End credits roll over the Crystal Heart. 10/10.
Man, this chapter was painfully human. The bullying, the silence, the broken family, it’s too real. You didn’t romanticize it; you wrote it like it actually happens. That’s what made it hurt.
