I could watch this as an opening episode right now. Scene one: thunder and rebirth. Scene two: Heaven panorama shot with orchestral vocals. Scene three: baby Haise grinning at a god. End credits roll over the Crystal Heart. 10/10.
Man, this chapter was painfully human. The bullying, the silence, the broken family, it’s too real. You didn’t romanticize it; you wrote it like it actually happens. That’s what made it hurt.
