Okay interesting. So despite having relatively high physical stats he was still very much out matched. Makes you imagine how stats scale.
And interesting that you spawn in either an area close to the final boss' domain, or that they leave their post. Which would beg the question of why youre either that close to instant victory, or why the boss leaves since it gives a window to run and get the title, unless theres something else in the way.
Another thing is that maybe RP is critical, and every word you say and is heard by NPCs influences them. Maybe acting like too much of a player and toying with people makes you unable to progress.
