    Shuten-Doji is an actual oni within Japanese legend. He is probably the most famous oni and the oni king. He has an obsession with sake and lived on the mountaintops (which I obviously tweaked a little bit).

    The innkeeper is a yokai called kosamebo (小雨坊). A harmless monk yokai that begs for alms (food and money). Yokais are just going to be everywhere in this story so expect more comments like these.
