What is an Achievement?

Yeah, I didn't want the magic to be too powerful in this setting—it can do a lot, but not everything, and not all the time. And does it come through that warm, friendly people can sometimes scare me a little bit? Because they can, especially at first, so I gave Noa that trait too.
Thank you! I'm glad the tension came through. Noa's in a tricky position, and he's lived on the more isolated side compared to Miyori. He's got a lot to adjust to.

Thank you!! While they're very different people, one of the core traits that Noa and Miyori share is that they're both kind and generous in their own ways. (Kind of like Nataria and Senri in Hide Me In Your Heart, actually ) The story really wouldn't work if they weren't!
Thank you! Miyori's parts are where I think the worldbuilding starts to come through, so I'm glad if it's working. Coming up with pixie lore (and just what their daily lives are like) was one of the most fun parts of this project for me.
Thank you so much, Casha!! I'm so happy that you're reading my story, especially since I completely understand being busy. I really did stick Noa in a situation right from the start! He'll figure it out, though...

This is a really nice self-contained chapter. You can feel the time passing and Akiro's status quo—and his dynamic with Rin—starting to shift.
Kaito's becoming a more interesting antagonist. With how Akiro's power works, it's unclear exactly what Kaito is or isn't doing to him. I wonder what Kaito might try to offer.
The rules of Akiro's world are punishing, but fascinating too.

It seems like there are some ways forward for Akiro, albeit no easy ones. I'm really enjoying the tension in this!
Interesting. Was there a teleportation in there? The descriptions of the street outside and the apartment inside were both solid, but I missed the moment when one became the other.
The kinesthetic descriptions of the magic working are really well-done. I wonder what Akiro can do with the powers he's got now?
Seems like a pretty bleak situation. The different parties involved and their philosophies are interesting, though. I'm curious where Rin fits in the greater scheme of things.
This is intriguing! I really like the banter between these two. And I'm also interested in an explanation or answers, whichever shows up first 😆
I absolutely love the description of the chase in this chapter. It was just the right amount of poetic, the beats felt just right, and it really pulled me in. Really well done!

This is an intriguing opening! I like how you drop us into the world. The characters also seem interesting—I'm looking forward to learning more about them.
