So now we’ve established that Nancy hates field trips, large-group automobiles utilized by public schools, and literature that paints a false picture of Wendigos! I swear - the dry, cynical humor that comes with Nancy as a character will never get old. She just feels so real in a story about the fantastical!
I think it’s cool too, that in the first chapter - you alerted the reader to a dichotomy focusing on the darkness surrounding the mythical aura of the Wendigo as either being a deliberately murderous being - or one that’s just naturally predatory, but without prejudice, and now the time has become ominous on the field trip!
I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes!
