Tatsuchi's story arc is her thinking that just because she's apart of a strong clan, she should be the exception and should be the strongest as well. But during the Cold Interference Arc (the second ever arc), after she get defeated by Brass, she had to except that she wasn't strong enough at the time. During the Tomidoru Interlude filler arc, she learned that there's a lot about the world she didn't understand. But after Signa taught her how to use Kai's and output her Zyn energy into her blade due to the lack of her Zyn Technique, Tatsuchi got back on her high horse and taught that she'd never have to worry about losing again. At the beginning of the Hito-mane Extermination Arc, during her fight with Graham and he gave her her scar (it looks like kenpachi just on the opposite side of her face now that I think about it.) she realized that people can still throw her off her own guard. After she found the body in Kokohama, she felt fear, true fear. She's never seen anything like this, let alone so mutilated in such a way. And now that she's facing somebody else from the Revolutionary Army that she found out is in the same rank as Brass, she's afraid again. Brass told her that he was holding back extremely. But Kaguya is telling her that he's there for her head. What if this is where she dies? There's still so many things that she needs to understand about herself and the world she taught she understood. This is where she needs to make the hardest decision for someone like herself: does she run? Or does she stand her ground?
