I wonder if he was in a loop then the headless creature on the horse was holding rajeev's head in his hand when he first saw that creature. While it is unclear in the story but if there was no head in that creature's hand then that changes the things slightly. maybe that dullahan is just a vessel and people kinda kill themselves through that vessel
Rajeev accepting his fate in the previous chapter was a little unsettling but well he probably had no other options. all this time he probably knew what's gonna happen and that he can't even change it.
before I knew I was in the world of those four friends. it cracks me up how characters in horror stories can't resist stepping into the unknown, strange place late at midnight, ignoring every instinct screaming "don't go there!!"
