Her explanation only tells me that there were TWO people in Morenna’s mother’s life who loved her “so much” that they despised and blamed her infant daughter—what pieces of shit!
Tamara is little better than Khellvain, who is utterly loathsome! What the HELL kind of person won’t adopt and care for a lover’s child if they die in childbirth?!! A self-absorbed, spineless, narcissist, no matter how regretful she might act now, when doing anything else would paint her as heartless! If Morenna weren’t useful, she should still be fucking abandoned. Why she doesn’t just leave this family behind is beyond my ability to fathom at this point. 😡
