Vert daTaleTeller

Professionally I work as a biologist and am also a parent but among other hobbies I’ve always loved manga and anime and more recently light novels. As a long time story teller I’ve decided to throw my hat in the world of creative writing for fun but also with hopes of creating something that will touch the hearts and capture the imaginations of many.

well this chapter basically answered my question from the last chapter as well as provided their backstory. interesting to see how this ties back into the present.

Witch’s First Espionage Mission in 200 Years

Chapter:10

Oct 09, 2026

Sybil truly must be in her own world like for as powerful and capable as she is I feel like she fixates on something and dilly dallies along. which is funny but if anything makes one wonder how strong she is like imagine if she got serious…

yes indeed. the next chapter is what I would consider the transition from act 1 to act 2 so we’re going places! I hope you enjoy the ride 🙂

thank you for your feedback. pacing is definitely something I’ve been mindful of since it’s kind of a big story fit into thirty six chapters so the challenge/fun of writing it was figuring when to progress things along and when to give some extra time to a certain scene or dialogue. I had to do a bit of a time skip in this chapter to create space where many interactions that couldn’t make the final draft would of occurred. so hopefully despite the fast paced it all comes together as natural as possible. as always thanks for reading. I’m enjoying going through your story as well!

idk if I will ever not chuckle reading Sylvester Holmes lol but yeah I feel for Sammy. poor kid must have some overwhelming feelings hearing of his father’s grief.

haha caught me red handed but I genuinely do appreciate you taking the time to check out my tale. I found your work to be very whimsical and this is a new venture for me so I certainly aim to learn and build community with my fellow story tellers.

thank you for reading and glad you enjoyed the action. Mean would be a generous way to describe what the Brimstones (particularly Jamal) did. it makes you really question why would they raise her when they found her to then do this horrible thing. was it just because she wouldn’t cross the boundaries of what she believes is right or is there more to it? only one way to find out 👀.

interesting so the gist I’m getting is there are two magical sisters who live in some kind of domain where time stays still for whoever goes in and they spy on people for fun. now they have this prince tagging along for reasons I’m sure will be revealed. Sybil also doesn’t know what personal space is and doesn’t blink much lol can’t forget about Sylvester Holmes either. Quite the quirky cast and seems like a fun read. I wonder how quick will it take for them to end up getting into real stuff as a result of their shenanigans.
