This is a great first chapter! It sets up the bones of Maxwell's character in a way that makes me really wanna see how he handles all the changes; from his environment, to his new(ish) mother, and the biggest change(or should i say smallest lol) his new tiny body. (Well assuming orc kids are tiny at 5? Guess I'll see that in the next one ) Anyway, the pacing is also good, it doesn't get bogged down in the minutiae of his original life but still gives a good overview of his experiences and how he generally thinks. And looking at the summary Im excited to see him work up from his new (even worse off lol) starting point! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the next update (made an account just for it 💛)
