Gosh, now I realize that even if it is mentioned in the synopsis, this has not been made clear in the chapters themselves so far: the parent dealing with the girls is their father. My bad.

Thanks! I may be tipping my hand here but the overall arc goes the same as individual chapters. I have a rough idea. Well, several rough ideas, anf they compete amongst each other as I write. And by the end a storyline or arc has emerged. This is not to say that I don't have a main plan, I do, but the different gears keep free-wheeling until they get locked down one by one.

Thank you! I'll keep the chapters coming. The great thing is I don't really know where the story is headed as I begin so I end up as surprised as the readers.
