Ah. That confrontation in the bedroom was such a supreme scene. Although you aren't a very descriptive writer in so far as describing setting, you make up for it with really intense depictions of raw emotion and snappy dialogue. There's something to be said about how we're seven chapters in but the precise nature of the "game" has never been disclosed. Only the supernatural elements of it and the stakes are slowly, slowly, slowly getting drip-fed.
