First of all, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm not lying when I say a tear trickled down my eye. For someone to analyze and pick apart something that I wrote for leisure is... well it's unbelievable.
Well the issue at hand, which is actually even more sensitive than I thought initially, is something that I've been conflicted with as well. I wanted to make a story that blurs the line between "men" and "women", so to speak. Because inherently, as a person, we could be pretty much the same if we remove gender from the equation. Hell, if I were Misaki I would probably do the same thing. This is why I use myself as a reference point in designing Misaki's character, with me being a male. And I'm glad it worked perfectly. I'm glad it spoke to you to some degree. I'll just refer to Misaki as 'Misaki' from this point on.
I don't have that much of a retort, but I do want to say that I agree with all of your points.
I agree that it's a bit hazy in terms of description. I suppose I'll have to work on my foundations. I'm also lacking in the editing department, so I'll work on that as well. This story is slated for a rewrite so I could post it on Wattpad lol, so maybe when I'm done with that I could rewrite the chapters here as well.
Yeah, the descriptions that are "bloated" and the ones that are crisp mingling together are pretty jarring now that I think about it. Maybe I'll stuff my technical descriptions on emotional moments. I don't know. I'm not that good a writer yet, lol.
But for what it's worth, I'll give you my sincerest 'thank you' that I can produce. Really, this means a lot to me. I wish you luck in your future endeavors. See ya' around.
