Advanced but not good

Yasu extended his staff and the tip began to transform into a saw, and started spinning. Everyone jumped against the Haditis, Yasu did some amazing acrobatics to avoid getting bitten by them and hit the Haditi with a clean cut.

Ryu was of big help hitting every Haditi that seemed to prepare to throw acid, making the shield hit their sack and throw their own acid below them, and making them trip, once they got tripped, it was the turn to Nazu hitting the Haditis with enough range thanks to her Nodachi, when she reached a pair of them while running in the middle, she made her Nodachi turn to a twinblade and hit two of them at the same time.

Marin rolled to some of the Haditis that were jumping, stamping themselves on the walls and then getting a clean shot on their stomach by one of Marin’s pistols, Midori was waiting for them too but in a different sense he saw the ones that jumped and hit them first with his shotgun like if he was playing bat, and when they got stamped in the floor he fired with one canion and with the other hit the ones that were about to bite him, making half of their head being blowed up because they opened their mouth or one of their eyes were blown up.

Sakura was fighting a few of them they were jumping to bite her, but she was able to evade every single one of them, but there wouldn’t be a second chance, once they pass Sakura’s arm she would stab their stomachs to the floor and leave the blade in their to recharge it, one of them jump straight to her arm and she entered his arm into their mouth a bit just to shoot the blade inside of it. Amano hit them with the entire blade to make them lose balance and then cut their stomachs, his sword wasn’t spinning anymore, since the only time he would spin it is if they bite his sword.

Haditi after Haditi was coming but there was no problem for the 342nd squad, in a matter of hours they were able to wipe out the entire floor and move forward until they reached sector D again, the armor of everyone was covered in green fluids along with their weapons.

Yasu called Kaminari and he accepted the call.

—Sector D, is completely free

—Excellent, all the areas seem clean, a team of only recollection should go now. When you arrive, come immediately to my office, all of you, and be preparing a report

The transmission ended and everyone returned to the mine cars.

—You all made a mess! I would not let you enter the cars like that.

The man took a glowing blue stone not bigger than a pebble inside a little square transparent box out of his pocket and put it inside a circular object with a lot of holes in it, he then pointed the circular thing to the team and a strong pressure of water were directed to the squad, making them clean but all of them were knockout in the floor.

—You can get in now —the man took the stone out of the circular object and saved it again in his pocket.

—YOU CAN WARN US ABOUT THAT! —Sakura yelled.

—I won’t take anything from a disobedient girl.

—What did you just say?!

—Leave it, let’s end this —Amano said.

—He’s right, Sakura —Nazu said.

Sakura grind her teeth and got up in the car, everyone got up and rested a bit without saying a word, but they were for sure satisfied by the end of their mission. It took a bit of time to reach the elevator but they eventually reached it without problem. Once they got up the man in white started to clean the mine car at a fast pace.

Sakura pushed the button to the main lobby and hid their helmets pressing the button again, when they arrived, they did the same as the squad 101st, giving the things to the investigators even though only Amano had one little bag to deliver.

Everyone went to the chief’s room and the chef was waiting for the team with a furious face, everyone got chills down their spine and maintaining direct eye contact with the chief eyes.

—You disobeyed my orders, you went to make a scene even though I told you to retire.

—Bu-

Amano was about to talk but the chief hit his desk and raised his voice.

—I KNOW WHAT YOU DID! And I’m impress, not only you defeated a hundred of Haditis by yourselves, but that’s not the problem here, remember that you are in an institution, one that you need to obey what you superiors said, you can act like you know everything, but we have more experienced, next time that I said something, you should act accordingly, because next time, is not going to be a simple Haditi, it would be something worse.

Kaminari voice was in a more serious tone than the cheerful one than before, everyone nod and said “Yes, sir”

—Alright, I’ll still going to give you credit for doing all that, it was not easy task, and you left without a scratch, that’s good, seems like the training fields do their job, but it seems than no one of you wants to work as a team yet, I can’t force you all to do that, but it shows, in your battle you were not working as a team, you were just casually synchronize, because I know this is not all what you are capable.

Everyone looked at each other only with the side eye and kept quiet.

—I’m not telling you that you should be brothers or loved each other, just act like a proper team, like I said before, you are going to be together until the day of your retirement, is all, your next mission will appear in your watches, and I will not be your navigator again, I already told you that but just in case you forgot about it. Everyone got out of the room and each one of them took their own way.

Ryu went to serve himself a cup of coffee, Amano went back to the backrooms and Sakura did the same, Nazu went to another part of the building, Marin sat in a sofa and was playing with the watch, Midori was looking at the research team from the distance as he only was leaning in the wall.

Yasu went to the backrooms too and saw Amano seeing his blade, he ignored him and searched in his locker his music player and headphones, and sat on the floor closing his eyes. Amano clucked his tongue and left the room, Yasu only opened one eye and continued resting on the floor.

Kaminari got out of the room and saw everyone of the 342nd squad and made a big sigh, the lights turn green this time and members with white clothes had in their hands a lot of bags, the rest of the research team were out to help them. One of the researchers approach Kaminari and talked with him.

—This squad seems promising, chief

—I know, let’s just hope that they don’t mess up, everyone has their own flaws, let’s see how much they will have the worst of all.

A few minutes pass, a sound and tremble were being made in Yasu’s arm, he put his headphones always and saw the watch, it said:

“New mission, explore the 1259th floor on Sector F. Exploration mission. Threat level: 0”

Yasu touched the watch and put his player and headphones in the locker, he left the room and went to the main lobby only to encounter his teammates already in the elevator.

—Took you a bit, come on —said Midori.

It was time to leave now, all of them activated the helmet and began to descend, at the same floor, 530. They were welcomed by the same man in white.

—Hello, everyone! Glad to be your rider again.

The team passed at the side of the man in white and just went straight to the mine cars. The man in white sighs and goes to the main mine car.

As they were descending, the white was disappearing, and the brown welcomed them, but now, a new color appeared, a purple one. Once they reached the floor, it was obvious that the zone was different from the one that they saw previously, this one was violet, with gems inside of them.

When they got down from the car it made a crystal sound, like hitting two gems together. The visor made the same icon of call at the side of them and when they clicked it, a new voice came out of it.

—I’ll be your new navigator for this mission, you already receive the details in your watch, so let’s go ahead, shall we?
