Chapter 2:
To the day when I will finally look forward to Tomorrow
?: "Excuse me, but you will catch a cold like that."
If I were to start describing her, I probably could never stop.
She had a glowing complexion with highlighting her sharp, defined cheekbones.
Her makeup was bold yet sophisticated: smoky, winged eyeliner accentuates her large eyes, complemented by fluttery lashes.
Her lips, ironically, the part that stood out to me first, were a glossy cherry red, giving her look a playful, sultry edge uncharacteristic for someone walking in a park in such an uninteresting part of the city.
She seems to be pushing 30, but still rocking that gal style. Now, that's a first.
Her pale, blonde hair is voluminous and styled in loose, cascading waves, with a few strands framing her face.
She was dressed to impress in a fitting mini dress in a striking ruby red tone.
Earrings, the dangling crystal kind, and a stack of thin bracelets completed the unusual fit.
Her nails were polished in a bold, glossy black.
Oh, and how could I forget those heels, or should I call them platforms at this point? She was as tall as me with them.
Not that I am a tall guy, but I am still not used to looking at a lady without having to change my usual line of sight.
But yeah, that was how we met, she just came up to a weird foreigner working out alone in a park in the rain on Christmas Eve. Who even does that?
"Don’t worry about it. Not my first time."
... Some awkward silence.
"Not like there is anything to lose if I do. Maybe I can actually find a reason to take a day off."
She smells like alcohol.
?: "Hmph, a cold heart is just as bad."
"Haha, that’s a new one! I’m ****. Nice to meet you!"
?: "I'm Haru! Nice to meet you."
I guess I should have said something back at this point. But I just suck at keeping a conversation.
Haru "So, what are you doing after this?"
"Going home, I guess."
Haru: "Wrong."
Huh?
Haru: "It’s Christmas Eve. People go on dates. We will be no exception."
"We've just met though."
Guess she doesn't care. Damn, this girl doesn’t know what danger is.
But I never knew a date could be this fun.
I wonder if we can also meet tomorrow.
