The New Dawn, Part 1

While our heroes were listening to the ancient AI robot Professor Senji, they noticed he started to talk in a chopped way, his sentences turning into gibberish. Smoke began to rise from his body, alarming everyone.

Outside the cave, both military groups stood tense: the AI of President Hoshino and the human military under General Tanaka. They saw the smoke billowing out of the cave and both leaders began shouting their children's names in worry.

Inside the cave, Tekuno screamed, "We need to run for cover! Professor Senji is about to explode!" Kaito held Aiko in his arms and jumped behind a rock for protection. Tekuno caught Hashi and shielded him with his body. The last words of Professor Senji echoed, "Sayonara, my friends. I ask for forgiveness," before he exploded.

The rock saved Kaito and Aiko, but Tekuno didn't make it in time. They screamed his name, fearing the worst. Tekuno was on his knees, his back towards the explosion, still holding and protecting Hashi. His eyes were closed. Aiko tried to wake him, shaking him desperately. Kaito, with determination, focused his entire strength into one punch and hit Tekuno's face.

There was a moment of complete silence. Aiko, Kaito, and Hashi were paralyzed, staring at Tekuno. Tears filled their eyes until Tekuno opened his eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "Not a bad punch, for a human, Banana Boy!" Kaito, Aiko, and Hashi leapt onto Tekuno, tears of relief streaming down their faces.

Aiko noticed, "Your artificial skin on your neck is gone now too."

Tekuno looked at himself, "I think it looks pretty attractive!" They all laughed, and Tekuno added, "Now, this little fluffy friend owes me for my eye, facial, and neck skin! Hahaha." Hashi barked joyfully.

Outside, both military groups were ready for action, their leaders shouting their children's names. President Hoshino accused General Tanaka, "This explosion might be a terror attack by your son against my daughter!"

Tanaka retorted, "Kaito would never hurt Aiko!"

Inside the cave, Aiko, Kaito, and Tekuno held hands, standing together. Aiko began to cry, "That's it, we're over, aren't we?"

Kaito held her hand tighter, "No. I won't let us be separated again. You changed my world. Even if our mission failed, our goal remains the same!"

Aiko wiped her tears, "You're right. Let's go outside and change the world on our own."

Tekuno added, "Rest in peace, Professor Senji. The original prompt is forever lost, but we are still here. Let's go and show them that the mistakes of our ancestors are in the past. We are the present, fighting for a new future!" They took a deep breath and walked outside, Hashi barking with determination.

"President Hoshino, they're coming out!" an AI soldier shouted. The three friends walked out hand in hand, Hashi in Tekuno's arms.

"Kaito!" screamed General Tanaka.

"Aiko!" screamed President Hoshino. He ordered his AI military, "Ready to shoot if the human moves!"

Tanaka responded, "President Hoshino, there's no danger! That's my son!"

The president didn't change his mind, prompting General Tanaka to order his military to aim their weapons at the AI military and President Hoshino. "Stop!!" Kaito screamed, "Don't you see what you're doing?!"

Hoshino snapped, "What is going on? Are you kidding me, you little brat?!"

Tanaka defended his son, "Don't talk to him like that!"

Hoshino accused, "You kidnapped my daughter to use her for a terror attack!"

Aiko shouted, "Father, that's not how it was! It was my fault!"

"No, it wasn't!" Kaito insisted. "It was mine!" The tension escalated, with both military forces on high alert.

Aiko revealed, "I entered the human district because I helped her. I hacked the system, creating a fake passport for her. I pretended to be her to keep you in the dark, Father!"

President Hoshino, stunned, asked, "So, I ate dinner with you!? That's why you looked so weird with that blanket over your head!"

Tekuno apologized, "I'm sorry, but you really cook well!"

Kaito, whispering, asked Tekuno, "What exactly is going on?"

Tekuno replied, "Long story, I'll tell you later." He then stepped forward, raising his hands. "It was my fault. Leave them alone."

"Tekuno, what are you doing?" Aiko cried.

Tekuno replied, "This is the first step into a new future. Believe me!" He raised his hands and walked towards the human military group.

"Arrest him, but don't hurt him!" ordered Tanaka.

"Why is Tekuno walking towards the human group?" an AI soldier asked President Hoshino. Hoshino remained silent.

"Dad, don't hurt him! He's my friend!" screamed Kaito. Tekuno looked back, smiling with tears in his eyes.

Hoshino, stubborn, said, "I don't believe Tekuno! My daughter would never betray us!"

Aiko moved forward, "Father, you never wanted to understand!"

The human military aimed their guns at Aiko. "Don't shoot her! She's not the enemy!" yelled Tanaka. Kaito stepped in front of her.

Hoshino aimed a gun at Kaito, "Not another move, human, or it will be your last!"

Aiko stepped in front of Kaito, "If you want to shoot him, you'll have to kill me first, Father!"

Realizing the depth of his daughter's feelings, Hoshino lowered his gun, tears streaming down his face, "A... A.. Aiko... My beloved Aiko, I'm so sorry."

Out of nowhere, Agent Hebi rushed forward, stealing Hoshino's gun. "If you're all too weak, then I have to finish it!" She fired at Aiko.

Everything seemed to move in slow motion. Tekuno, in chains, screamed Aiko's name. Kaito pushed Aiko aside, ready to take the bullet. At the last moment, General Tanaka jumped in front of Kaito, taking the bullet to save his son. The world stood still.

"General Tanaka!!" screamed President Hoshino. The second human officer ordered Agent Hebi's arrest, but she had disappeared.
