Chapter 8

"Maam white, I know you are here." John said on the front door of her house. "Guys, is she really here?" He said as he then asked the men who were right behind him

The house had 2 floors, with a lawn and a parking space at the left side, where it was just a simple house with a big lot space and a balcony. Where john was at the front door, with all the guns lying on the floor.

"And why should we tell you?" One of the guys said

"Just asking." John said with a smile, before he flew up towards the glass window to the master bedroom

And there in the master bedroom, was may white, trying to shred some papers.

"So its true!" White said as she was also shocked at the sight

She was still wearing her work clothes by then, as she was shredding her papers. John then pointed towards the balcony, as his voice cant get through the glass window, and where white agrees. Then she goes to the balcony, where john was waiting.

"So, just how much of the evidence did you destroy?" John said

"Not all, not yet. I didnt think that you would know about all this." White said

"Its all just a theory, though if it werent for the men whose always trying to kill me, you would have gotten away with everything. Anyways, what kind of evidence did you destroy?" John said

"As I dont know what you might be looking for, I was shredding some personal files." White said

"I see. Though I have no interest in your private workings, I just have one question for you." John said

"Ok, I will answer to almost anything." White said

"Who made you do it?" John said seriously

"Who made me do what?" White said with cold sweat

"Order to kick me out of the company by any means necessary. You already know what I mean." John said

"Oh.. that.. listen, there are some secrets that must be protected at all costs." White said strongly denying

"You basically have no other choice in this matter maam. Did you know that the brain always fires many neurons which are a lot like electrical signals?" John said with a smile

"Wh-what are you saying?" White said, suddenly getting the clue on what will happen

It was also then, that they all slowly heard a powerful crackling noise.

"Just what is that noise?" White said being curious

"They would go that far huh, just to protect their interests." John said as he looks above

When white also looked just right above her, there were electricity sparkling right above her.

"J-just what is this?! Is this part of your power?" White said, now afraid

"Yes and no. It seems that they now want to kill you. Do you know how hypnotism works maam?" John said

"Just get to the chase!" White said

"Hypnotism works by sending signals to ones brain, so that they can become commands, and control them through special type of frequency. Which means they want to hypnotize you to commit suicide." John said

"What?! Im out of here--" white said trying to go back to her house when john grabbed her arm

"You are safer with me around. Remember the crackling sound above you? That was my low energy barrier protecting you." John said

"O-ok. I can trust you right? Since what you are up against is one whom you might not win." White said before john lets go of her

"Yes, you can trust me. Also, there are a number of ways that I can win with this opponent, but I would need all the info I could get." John said as the crackling sound got a bit louder

"Alright. Take me to the police station right now, so that I will explain everything there." White said

"No, you must say it now. We have no time left." John said

"No time for what?" White said

"The police are also coming." John said seeing the blue and red lights from a distance

"Alright then. I will also give up to the police, and in return, you must protect me from them." White said

"Who is them?" John said, but noticed a high energy reading. "Tch! They just wont give up!"

But when white was about to say something, john fired his lightning towards the sky, where everybody in the neighborhood saw 2 beams of light clashing together.

"Stay behind me maam!" John shouted as white followed

After a few minutes, both light sources slowly disappeared.

"Is it safe now?" White said before john turns to her

"Yes, for now. Please tell me now, as now is the chance." John said as all the people below ran for their lives

"The enemy is a group of companies which governs the dark side of the worlds powers, including the company which you worked for before, signsign inc. There, I said it! Now get me out of here!" White said, being very afraid

"Ok, got it. I will send you to the police before I will leave and confront the real enemy. Though you must also atone for what you have done." John said before they finally heard the rings of the police. "They are here."

"Gulp. Ok. Can you help me get some things inside?" White said

"I think that nows not the time for that maam." John said as he looked at the sky again

In that moment, john fired his lightning once more to intercept the high energy beam of light.

"Just what is really happening to the world now?" White said

"It seems that they have all the influence and power to pull something like this! That political leaders would even bow down to them!" John said. "Its maybe time I destroy one of them."

With that, john turned up the volume and reflected all the energy back to its source using his lightning, thus destroying the satellite in space.

"Hey john! Just what is really happening?!" Jose shouted down the balcony

"Maam white will explain everything later! For now, you must gether to safety!" John said

"So that beam of light was aimed at her?!" Jose said

"They probably dont care anymore whom they hit, as long as we all die!" John said

"John here wi protect us if--" white said, before john cuts her off

"Here it comes again!" John said as he faces towards the other beam of light and intercepted it.

"Maam white! Come down here now!" Jose said as white agrees

"Leave all your gadgets with the chief! That way they wont be able to trace you!" John said

"Got it!" White said before she disappearsinto the house

John then flew up, where 1 more energy beam tries to hit him. But as usual, he just intercepted both beams of light and destroyed the satellite. After that, jose signals john that they will now leave, where john also comes along with them.
