Chapter 9

"Miss white is now under protection, we still got no culprit for the incident in her company, and we now have something very big to think about." President dueta said on a meeting

John and jose was now inside joses office, where the meeting was held online.

"Are you sure john, that this is what you want?" Jose said on his seat

"Yes, as im not afraid of them." John said seriously

"Those are big words coming from someone who just received gods blessing." Dueta said as jose agrees

"Well, I did mean what I said in my letter. You guys did send my letter to the US president right?" John said

"Yes, and he just didnt believe all that rubbish that you said. Though I believe you." Dueta said

"Thats alright. Though are my family safe for now?" John said

"Yes. The mayor of Oro city is currenly strengthening his defenses, and some are guarding your family store." Dueta said

"I already sent my parents a text message on the current situation, and they are now informed." John said

"Thats good. Thoughwhat will you do now john?" Dueta said

"There is always the option to do nothing and just strengthen my defenses, but I think that they wont learn a lesson from this if I dont set an example." John said

"So in short, you are going to the US right?" Jose said as john agrees

"Please dont make things even messier john." Dueta said as he rubs his temple

"Although they started the whole thing, which all countries are in chaos from the info itself, I still cant ignore what they have done. They all think that they are the gods in this world, and would stop at nothing to obtain even more power." John said

"This might also be a declaration of war right? But who is or are our enemy?" Jose said

"I might know of one, and its a country that no others would dare to mess with easily." John said

"Which country is it?" Jose said

"America, or the companies which finance the pentagon and such. Though its still a theory at this stage." John said

"Maam white said after all that the enemy is a group of companies which controls the dark side of the world." Jose said

"Do make sure that this info isnt leaked." Dueta said

"Nope, the world must know. With that knowledge shown to the world, those companies would now be on their high heels." John said with a smile

"Alright then, have it your way john. But are you sure you can handle this alone?" Dueta

"Yes, I will. Though as for what I will do, I will fly towards america by tomorrow, and go to the white house to pay the president a little visit." John said as he gave them cold sweat

"Whoa.. you would--" jose said before he was cut off

"Yes, I would not do anything reckless as to harm the US president himself. Just a little warning though for those ignorant fools in the darkness." John said with a smile

"Hahh.. if you go, there will be complications with relations and stuff. Are you sure you want to go?" Dueta said

"Yes, for the sake of both the world and for world balance." John said

"Why also world balance?" Dueta said as jose agrees

"Cause any slight artificial change from us, just like with plastics, might affect nature in one way or another. Thus endangering our own survival." John said

"When you put it like that, I just cant ignore the facts." Dueta said as jose agrees

"Anyways, its time for me to go." John said as he exited the meeting and stood. "Oh! And maam white might have connections with city hall, so you should also investigate on that."

"Ok. Though are you alright john? That attack might have taken a toll on you." Jose said worried

"Yes, im tired. Though this evil just started their day, which is why I must go now." John said

"Let me see.. its now 8pm here, that means its still early morning over there. Will you be able to buy a ticket now?" Jose said

"For that, its a secret." John said with a smile, as he now walks out of the office

After getting out of the police station, he then ate at a local eatery, before he goes to the hotel to extend his stay. After all that, he flew upwards a bit and clear of any buildings, before he flew at lightning speed towards america. But before he flew, he covered himself with a high voltage barrier so that his clothes wont get torn by the wind, and used google maps to figure out which way he must fly. After more or less an hour, he finally arrived in washington, where it was now daytime. And with the help of google maps, he was able to fly towards the white house.

"Hi there. I dont have an appointment, but I am here to speak with the US president." John said to the security who was on high alert

John was floating just right outside the building of the white house, where all he had was his clothes, some philippine money with him, and a full face mask. It was also a good thing that it was summer when everything happened as well.

"Who are you? And why are you here?" One of the security said

"I have come in peace, and I also brought my letter for the US president." John said

"Do you think we would believe that?" One of the security said

"Then I will just give one to you, so that you may send the letter to the president. And do tell him that I already know everything I need to know." John said with a smile, before handing over a copy of his written letter

"Alright, there are no traps whatsoever here, just a superpowered guy who wants to send a message to the president." One of the security said assuring everyone else

"Well then, I have to go to the pentagon now. So you better give that to him." John said before he flew upwards again

Then at fast speed, he flew towards the center of the pentagon, where there was a park just for employees. At first, everyone was very surprised at what they saw. But few seconds later, after realizing of their training, they all pointed their guns at john.

"Hold it there, I mean no harm. Is there a general here by instance?" John said as he touched down to the ground

"Stand down everyone." One of the soldiers who was eating and sitting by a bench said as he stood. "I also think he means no harm."

With that, everyone lowered their guns, but still continue to monitor the situation.

"Hello general, you probably know my name by now, so I will make this quick. Here is a written letter about what really happened to me and the reason why I have powers." John said as he got one copy from his envelope

"Yes, I will receive it." The general said before he walks towards him

But as he received the paper, he quickly drew his gun and fired on johns head, which was rendered useless due to his high voltage barrier

"Jesus, just what are you?" The general said

"If one very greedy person hadnt hit me, I wouldnt be like this talking to you right now. Though im also grateful for the opportunity, since I can exact my own justice." John said with a smile

"I see. I am general frank plank by the way." Frank said as he reaches out for a handshake

"And im johnny storm. Though please forgive the mask, since I just want to hide my face in public." John said as he shook his hand

"No worries there son. So what will you do now?" Frank asked out of curiosity

"You would be surprised maybe, though its not that grand." John said before he flew up again. "You guys already know where I live, just contact me if you might need help with something major." He said as he slowly ascends

"Got it." Frank said
