Chapter 10

"Good day again washington! Its grace feel again, and It seems that we have an unexpected guest at our side, threatening our lives." Grace said

John was now at CNN, where they were just done with their part of the news, when he barged in.

"And this is brock roland. Please do welcome our guest--" brock said

"You can call me, the reaper, if you like." John said sitting in the other seat

"So reaper, just what brings you here to our show?" Grace said

"Please do broadcast this, or else innocent lives will be lost." John said as he shows off some power in his hand

"Dont worry, we are certainly broadcasting this live." Brock said being composed while afraid

"Good. Cause more lives will be at stake compared to yours." John said, turning off the power in his hand

"What do you mean?" Grace said

John then explained what had happened to him until now, leaving out names of people and his name, except for the names of people in power.

"Whoa.. now thats some roller coaster ride." Brock said

"Yes, and all of it was caused by a group of companies which controls the dark side of society, including the other company which I had belong to when I was still a call center agent." John said

"What was it again? Signsign inc?" Brock said

"Yes, and god bestowed these powers to me in order fulfill my mission, which is to save the world and bring balance to it." John said

"What do you mean by bringing balance?" Grace said

"One thing I need to do right now, is to make my existence known to the world, as well as the current enemy. Thus in order to bring balance, I must discipline the enemy to fear me, as even I cant just defeat the enemy with my powers. If I do, humanity would have been on the verge of extinction." John said with a smile

"Thats a joke right? Cause from what I have seen, your power is only electricity." Brock said

"Nope, its not. Though I dont know how much power I currently have, but I can certainly do as much when I have no other choice." John said, as the others now fear for the worst

"I see. S-So just what are you going to do with the enemy? Just how will you discipline them?" Grace said, with slight fear in her

"First thing, I will deprive them of their toys. As that probably wont be enough, then I will probably see them on the battlefield, or in one of my missions in the future." John said

"Arent you afraid of what might happen to your family?" Grace said

"Yes im worried, but this is the only way that I can do both. Fulfill my mission and protect them at the same time." John said

"Arent you also afraid of what might come if you go public?" Brock said

"Nope. I just need to both survive and protect my family. If I cant do that, then this country might just be wiped out of the map." John said with a smile

"Why are you so hostile against this country? What did the people of this country do to you?" Brock said

"They have done nothing wrong. Its just that if they will erase the ones that I love most, I too will erase what they love most. And thats the pride and people of america." John said

"What?! Do you also think the people of america wouldnt stand as one against you? As well as the whole world?" Brock said, now a bit angry

"I bet they would stand as one, but can anyone on earth defeat me? As my power rivals even against all the nukes combined. That is if I really have no other choice though." John said

"Do you think that america will wage war on the philippines if it comes to that? As you said you come from the philippines, then its safe to assume that you are now representing your country." Brock said

"True, that im also currently representing my country, but im more of a selfish person. So I dont care what will happen to america or what it will do, but if it will hurt my family, then consider that country eradicated. Just look at what happened in Cebu, where not 1 but 2 more lasers were aimed to eradicate a place! Just to kill one person!" John said seriously

"Really?! Please search and display the video, if you ever also see it." Grace said towards the staff, which they nodded

"It was really a good thing that I was there, or else they would have gotten away with it with some lame excuse." John said as brock was taken aback at his words

"It seems that we have many hits! The video seems to be very trending in the country right now." Grace said, after the video was shown on the TV in the middle

The video on youtube shows that as john reflected the light beam, the fragments also hit the other houses and buildings, though no one got killed. And when the event was over, a fire then started.

"Whoa! Did you actually do that reaper?" Grace said

"Yes, and I also destroyed all 3 satellites." John said as all of them were at awe

"There is just 1 question to this, are you a force for good or for evil?" Brock said being curious

"I am a force for good, that you can believe in." John said assuring

"Then why are you holding us hostage in the first place?--" brock said before being cut off

"Cause if I didnt do this, I wouldnt have been heard right? And you guys would treat me differently." John said

"Whew! I really thought we were hostages. Cause you just suddenly barged in, struck the security with your electricity, and demanded that you be aired." Grace said, being relieved, as the other staff are as well

"For me, I still cant believe it. That the day that humans will have powers would come! Its just like straight out of the comics!" Brock said as grace agrees

"I know what you guys mean. And I just stun the guards as well, so they would be able to move after a few more minutes. Also, I know you guys contacted the police, so dont bother hiding it." John said

"If you knew, then why didnt you run away?" Grace said

"Cause its easier to demonstrate a bit of what I can do to the public." John said before he stood

In that moment, the SWAT team barged in to the studio, and got into position with their black armor, gear, and heavy rifles.

"Freeze! You have the right to remain silent! Give up and dont resist!" One of them said as the hosts both duck for cover

"Like this?" John said with a smile, before he shot a low voltage stun towards one of them, which only tickled a bit

"I said, dont move!" One of them said, as they ready their rifles

"Yeah, like this?" John said with a smile before he shot another low voltage stun to another one of them, with the same effect

At the same time, the SWAT team all fired at john, where he was unscathed yet again. As john used electromagnetism to make a field around him, making the bullets go around him instead. And as the gunfire stopped, he dropped all the bullets to the floor.

"Ok, I think thats enough for now." John said before he walked away from the studio

As he walked away from the studio and towards the roof, he was also followed by the SWAT team and the camera team. After he arrived at the roof, to the edge of the roof, john then flew south. As he flew as far as possible, he used google maps again to calculate his trip back towards his country.
