Chapter 12

"Are you sure that you wouldnt make a mess this time around?" Jose said, as both him and john were in a park in Cebu, sitting in a bench and waiting for something

Both of them were there, as most of the Cebu city police were dispatched to the area to clear out most of the people.

"I probably wont, though it will depend on the outcome. As what you guys will see will literally change the world as we know it." John said

"Seriously, there is never a dull moment with you john. Im very nervous now." Jose said

"Yeah. As he heard about what I can also do, the president suddenly changed his schedule for the day and decided to also watch." John said

"Yes, that and the whole world is also watching. Hahh.. I wonder if I will also show up on TV." Jose said

"You will show up, though you might not have anything to say. As the best doctors in Cebu will be the ones to assess the situation." John said

"Yeah, yeah.. and im just props now." Jose said sulking

"Dont worry, being in charge with security is very good too." John said smiling

"You are right. Anyways, here they come." Jose said as he saw the ambulance from a distance and john agrees

When the ambulance arrived at the center of ayala park, all the doctors who are with them stood up to get ready, as well as all the media available in Cebu city. Along with john and the security team, they all got into positions. And what came out of the ambulance was a girl, where the doctors then placed all their portable measuring machines on her.

"Are you sure you want to experiment on your little sister john?" Jose said, who was beside him

John was at a distance from her, where the doctors all still are getting ready.

"This isnt an experiment colonel, its just time to wake jasmin up, thats all. Though this time, im just giving her some power so that she can better decide what to do." John said proudly

"Hahh.. I think shes gonna wake up pissed. I mean, she went into a coma around the same time as you." Jose said

"Probably, which is why im here." John said with a smile

"Sir storm, everything is ready." One of the doctors said

"I hope you are right." Jose said before john walks towards jasmin

As the media now pays very close attention to john, who didnt use the mask this time in respect with his little sister waking up, where he then did the same thing as what he did with his parents. He touched her forehead for a second, before letting it go, then wait for what might happen.

"Nothing is yet happening john." Jose said after a few seconds

But as a few seconds have passed, it was just enough for the sky to darken.

"Sir, are you sure she will wake up?" A doctor said

"Oh, she will." John said towards them, before facing her again. "So this is your power." He said with a smile

In that instant, rain suddenly fell down, which really surprised everyone.

"Its raining?! The sky was so clear earlier." A reporter said

"Everyone, head to safety!" John said to jose and the others, where they looked confused

"But why?--" jose said before lightning struck the ground

"We got major readings on the EEG! Shes gonna wake up!" A doctor said

"Enough with that! Everyone! Head to shelter right now!" Jose said

With that, everyone except john had to take cover from the weather. After that, the earth shook slightly, as there was a small tornado near the vicinity. As things were hectic with everyone, john just floated, waiting for her to wake up.

"Hahh.. its been a few minutes and shes not yet waking up. Maybe I should manually wake her up." John said

"John!! Please make it all stop!" Jose shouted towards john due to the weather making lots of noise

"Fine." John said before manually waking her up. "Hey jasmin, time to wake up!" He said as he shook her like normally waking someone up

John did this several times, until she finally woke up from her sleep, to her surprise that she was in the middle of a hectic storm!

"Hey bro, just what is happening?!" Jasmin said her first words, out of surprise

"Alright, just calm down and take deep breathing." John said

"What?! Why?" Jasmin said

"Just do it." John said

"Alright then." Jasmin said before she did deep breathing while closing her eyes

As she did that, she was slowly calming down, and the weather also slowly improving.

"Good. Now open your eyes, and see what is happening now." John said

Sheslowly opened her eyes, to see that the bad weather stopped, even though there was still slight rains and dark clouds.

"Bro, just what is really going on?" Jasmin said,as she also noticed the people inside the building somewhat afraid

"Let me explain. But for now, lets get down and sit." John said before he let her go and descended towards the ground

To her surprise, they were actually floating back then and staying on the same spot, where it was a major surprise to her.

"Calm down jasmin, and slowly descend." John said, as he slowly guided her

With that, she was able to descend, where they sat on the stairs near them. Then john explains everything that has happened until now, as well as how her power works. And due to that, she calmed down a lot, where the weather was clear again.

"All of this is really major shock you know bro! I mean, I was just doing class the first thing, the next I remember was you telling me to calm down! Like what the heck!" Jasmin said

"Yeah, I can relate." John said before jose approached them

"Is it all ok now?" Jose said

"Yes, please do bring her some new clothes to wear please." John said politely and jose agrees

"Bro, just why are you friends with a police officer? And why are we here in the first place?" Jasmin said

"Well, its another long story. Though the police earlier is the chief of police in Cebu, colonel jose lego." John said

"What?! Bro, you have to tell me everything!" Jasmin said being surprised and all

"Yeah. But for now, I have one question for you." John said

"What is it now?" Jasmin said

"Are you interested in being the philippines hero?" John said with a smile
