Bruce cuts him off, “don’t get me wrong sir, im just basing this on their achievements towards helping humanity against threats of monsters and many more. Plus hes from the philippines, so we cant quite touch him.”

“for now maybe.” paul said with a serious look

“hahh.. anyways, thats my report for now.” bruce

“i guess we will also need new laws just for that right?” paul
”yes sir, we will need new laws for that and military intervention in case if some things go south.” bruce

“alright then, you can leave that part to me and the other world leaders. For now, I will need you to concentrate on the project itself.” paul

“what do you mean sir?” bruce

“it means that im putting you in charge of the whole project itself. Or maybe not just project hercules, but also with other projects that relates to this quantum energy that dr tom is talking about.” paul

“yes sir!” bruce said as he salutes. “and what about the budget for the projects sir?”

“i will personally approve of it, don’t worry. Just state what you need, and I will give it.” paul said as he stood and shook hands with bruce

“alright then. I will get to that right away sir.” bruce said before he left the room.

“if all goes according to plan, then we wont ever rely on those mutants, like ever.” paul said on his office, alone and thinking deeply.

Then on the following months that has gone by, as president paul also demanded a status report every month, tom and bruce would always go to the office to report.

“whoa! I cant believe the US president is here..” one of toms team said

They were now at another facility in the US, which the location is also unknown, since tom and his team was transferred to a bigger facility just for their research. Where the generals, as well as the new US president, has attended the showcase of inventions.

“dr tom, I hope your inventions would satisfy me and the generals here.” paul

“yes sir, im sure it wont bore you guys.” tom

“well then, lets start the showcase shall we?” bruce said as he was also beside tom

The research lab was a very spacious place, that it suddenly filled with all the inventions ever made by tom, where they first showcase a sort of pod which can fit any normal human.

“here is what we call, the health pod. This pod will literally restore anyones health in a few minutes.” bruce

The health pod was like a cylinder which has a lid on it, and where a human enters from above.

“whoa.. so how does it work?” a general said as they were examining the pod

“it works by pouring in liquid filled with vitamins and nutrients, and sometimes, blood is also even mixed in the process, all before humans with.. difficulties.. enter the pod.” tom

“so the patient, as we will call it, would have to fully be immersed in that liquid right?” a general said who butted in from toms explanation

“depending on the difficulty, then yes. Though aside from any injury to the brain, this health pod may be able to cure or fully heal a person or soldier, with also the use of quantum energy.” tom

“quantum energy you say?!” paul

“yes. Everything in this lab is either run by quantum energy or uses it! Soon, with the right budget, you will see anti gravity, weather manipulating devices, and many others!” tom
”whoa! And all these uses only quantum energy.” a general said

“can you also make mutants with that technology?” paul

“yes, of course! Aside from this enabling one to make mutants out of the woodwork, it can regenerate limbs and create enhanced soldiers!” tom

“wow!” they all said

“This is truly a padoras box that you have made doctor, did you know that?” a general said before paul looked at the general in question

“yes, we do. But sooner or later, someone would have made it. So we must make it first.” bruce

“anyways, do you offer to test this machine?” paul
”yes, we will be testing it now.” bruce said as he signals the team to let inside about 5 patients for each pod.

the patients were all with some kind of difficulty, where each patient is for each pod, which the total amount of pods there is are about 5 as well. And there, paul and the others watched on how the patients were being fitted with a device which connects to the main computer, each to measure their vitals. Then before the patients were being put into the pod, the usual liquid was entered around them, all before the process began.

“better brace yourselves folks, cause this will be a show to watch.” bruce said on the side

And there, one of the team members who is a hybrid, who volunteered to be the conduit, is on the control panel for the health pod. The control panel was with a flat touch screen, with 2 metal rods at each side. Then with the go signal from tom who was at the side as well, the hybrid volunteer turns on the device, before channeling quantum energy towards the health pods. And in just a few seconds, they all could see in awe of a miracle in play, limbs heal, diseases gone, and the patients were now back as healthy as a cow.

“whoa!!” they all said in wonder

“and for how long do they need to stay there?” paul

“about maybe a few hours before their limbs are fully restored.” tom

“anyways, check out this one guys.” bruce said as he breaths slowly before turning on the light saber.

The light saber was also cylindrical in shape, which can fit in one hand, and which the energy being released as a thick laser would have a tip, which is nothing like a typical laser.

“whoa! Does this use quantum energy as well?!” paul
”yes, very much.” tom

“though its kinda a bit hard to control when you are not that used to it.” bruce said before he turns off the light saber

“is that what I think it is?” a general said

“yes, your right. Its from the first invention I ever made, though with refined and nano parts.” tom

“well, is there more?!” paul

“sorry sir, but thats all for now im afraid.” bruce said sadly

“whats with the hold up?” paul
”its the budget sir, this is all that we could ever build in terms of budget.” bruce said as tom agrees

“well, I will approve for more budget then! Just make more miracle inventions!” paul said excitedly
