Chapter 6

About some time later after their last mission at the first emperors tomb, they then enter Beijing and into the Chinese government building where rod and Sheryl made their way towards the presidents office.

“sir, I have rod mason here to see you.”

“what? Hes here?” the secretary nodded “hahh.. send him in.”

After a few minutes, rod and Sheryl got to the presidents office and sat.

“first of all mr president, please do calm down as we will explain the current situation.”

“yes, im listening.” The president then positions himself to seriously listen to rod

“earlier, there were about 2 stupid men who tried to enter the qin tomb.” Sheryl

“what?! Why haven’t I heard of this yet?!”

“they didn’t report yet huh. Well, calm down first and listen.”

The Chinese president then sat with an angry face and listened. Sheryl then explained the situation as she presented a USB of the data that they have gathered.

“what is this doing in my desk?”

“it’s the data that we took inside the tomb sir. Videos of our expedition and a status report are also included. We couldn’t help it since the mafia or triads have already bombed the entrance of the tomb.” Rod

“really?! You went inside the qin tomb?!”

“yes. though I would also warn you that the contents would also scare the hell out of you.” Rod

“hah! lets see about that!” the Chinese president then played the video feed from over 40 members of rods team

“just how many are you now? And like I could also view all of these at the same time!”

“that’s why its all in folders sir. Lets just see rods and team alphas for now.” Sheryl

Then during the video, the president was taken back by the dangers that they would have faced once they enter inside the tomb but also was struck with wonder as he saw the layout of the emperors tomb.

“we also took samples which the data is already in a separate folder there, that the clothes definitely came from royalty and from the qin dynasty era.” Rod

“also the river in that video inside the tomb is a deep river of mercury, since we also took a sample.” sheryl

“and I also took one of their long rods out of the river of mercury to find it pretty deep.” rod

“h-how did you do all this?”

“we simply followed them inside sir and fought to protect the tomb as shown on the video.” Rod

“damn it! they have definitely gone too far! I will make sure that they will pay for this.”

“we probably should let you guys handle it from here. anyways, we will now return to the origami.” rod

“where are you going now rod? might you want to stay for a while and eat?”

“that’s a good proposal you got there mr president, but we still got a lot of requests to respond.” Sheryl

“o-okay then. Suit yourself. Though I will definitely put you up for a good word for your project exodus.”

“that’s great! Thank you mr president. If you will now excuse us.” Rod said as Sheryl was also happy with the news

After rod and Sheryl got out of the office, the Chinese president scratched his head again thinking of what he should do about all this. Then back in the origami at the bridge where they are holding a strategy meeting.

“girls, one down, one more problem to go.”

“yeah.. what should we do with those rich girls?” Sheryl

“hmm.. why don’t we ask them that?” Stacey

“well.. that’s the perfect answer but I worry about eliyas case.” Yukiko

“yes. shes a muslim after all. she will have many families and will literally try to find her with all their resources.” Flores

“hahh.. maybe lets just ask them. It’s the only way we got.” Maria

“alright then, its settled. We ask them then from there, we proceed with part 2 of this meeting.” Rod

“agreed.” Sheryl said as they all nodded

After a few minutes, ling and eliya was summoned to the bridge where they were summoned.

“hello girls. Have you calmed down now?”

“y-yes.. we tried also to call our fathers but they just wont answer. Then we thought about everything that happened and finally see that it maybe is true that they are now dead.” Ling said as eliya nodded

“like I said.. the moment they made a deal with them, it was already too late for them.”

“I know! Its just that its very hard to accept all of this!” ling said clenching her fists

“we get your situation right now ling. So getting right to the chase, you two must choose now..” Stacey

“to work for me and us or to go back to your worlds?”

“and specially you eliya, we would all need your decision if you want to come with us. If you do, you must either set aside your family ties or if they will understand and agree to your situation, we might let you in this ship.” Maria

“you specialize in robotics right?” Stacey

Eliya nodded

“then that’s perfect. We do have a spot for you on this ship as one of the science team members.” Stacey

“as for you ling, you must also decide whether to go back or go with us.” Sheryl

“once you do, you must set aside your other family members and work with us or if they would accept and understand, then you might also have a place here.” yukiko

“w-we understand. Let us think of it for now.” Ling said as eliya nodded

“perfect. You can contemplate your thoughts on the cargo hold sitting with the rest of the whole crew ling and eliya.”

“yukiko, set course for kola peninsula.”

“so were going back there to check out the Russian rescue teams request huh. For 5 lost children.” Sheryl

“yes. though when we get there, it would probably be night time so lets hurry.”

The origami back then was in the skies of Beijing just right above the government building when they now move back towards the western part of Russia. Then after a few more hours, it was now 7pm as they have arrived back to the borders of finland and north western Russia. They tried to contact the Russian rescue team but nobody answered the phone.

“rod, no one is answering.” Maria

“alright then. Lets just search the area for those children.”

“your saying that we should search the entire northern western part of Russia?” Sheryl

“yes. that is our only option right now.”

“oh well. Lets begin the search then.” Stacey

“hahh.. fine.. the request said anyways that they also searched the children in the entire north western area but didn’t find anything.” Sheryl

“the request is still new right?” yukiko

“yes. but the children were missing about 3 days ago.” Sheryl

“lets all get to it then. Their parents might be seriously worried about them right now.”

“got it.” yukiko then navigates the origami to hover through all of north western Russia.

After hours of searching, they still couldn’t find anything, no heat signatures, no life signs outside of the city or in the woods as they quietly hover through the skies.

“ughh.. all this searching for nothing..” flores said as she drank hot water while still checking the monitors

“hahh.. rod, can we just reject this request?” maria said as she stretched in her chair

“you know we cant just reject any request since all of us are now doing rescue work.” Sheryl said as she crosses out in the map the places that they have gone to.

“hey rod, check this out. Its seriously creepy.” Camellia was just sitting at the side of the bridge as their personal video editor and MC and records keeper.

“hmm.. let me see then.” Rod then got out of his seat and went towards camellia

Camellias station is their personal records keeping station as well as video editing and document printing station. As well as being able to connect to the internet direct via satellite. Then on her social media site, he saw a site which hasn’t been shared with the spirits with him which was the kola borehole in the kola peninsula.

“damn! Were here and yet we didn’t know about that!”

“what is it rod?” Sheryl then looked at rod

“girls, after watching the small documentary of this place, I have decided to go to it.”

“where is it rod?” yukiko

“into the kola borehole somewhere here in the kola peninsula.”

“now finding it on the map. Wait just a sec.” yukiko

“but it would have been included in your dream rod. unless since maybe they found it yet to be active back then.” Camellia

“good theory there camellia. But there might still be more to this. Anyways, lets go to this hole first.”

“got it rod. just found it and going to that coordinates.”

The origami then made a turn which sets up a course to the kola borehole

“as I inspect this request rod, it says nothing about where the children came from. From the start, it might have been an impossible search and rescue.” Sheryl

“maybe they just forgot to put that part.” Maria said with a gesture

“lets all find out now.”

It was now 12 pm when they arrived at the borehole.

“whew! Look at the size of that hole. Its seriously 7.3 kilometers down there!” camellia said as she also viewed the monitor

“assault team, ready for sortie!”

“science team, get ready to analyze data and camellia, get ready to record.”

“yes sir!”

“were all okay here rod.” Stacey said with a thumbs up

“origami must stay in the air as always in case of anything.”

“good luck in there. I hope that we can now find the children in here.” Sheryl

Rod then stood up and walked through the door and into the cargo hold where the assault team is now waiting.

“where are you going now rod?” ling said with eliya just right behind

“were now going for reconnaissance of the area. Don’t worry, we will be back.” Rod then touched her shoulder before he goes towards the dressing room to suit up along with the team.

After they suit up with the titania, they then descend downwards also turning on their flash lights and spectral gear. Rod then discusses the plan for a 3 man team elevator plan where 3 people would watch their backs as they hover at a certain distance from another 3 man team at the bottom. The team nodded and then began their descend as rod also gave the signal for each point that they should stop as well.

After a few minutes, they then arrived at the very bottom of the hole which was seriously very dark. Rod was with the 5 man team of team delta now when they heard many voices, even over their comms. As maria also listened to the voices, it seriously creepher out along with all the crew in the origami as well as with the rest of the team. Then suddenly they saw entities slowly appearing one by one all with black, white, and red colors.

“rod mason” his name was echoed throughout the entire area many times as if the entities are talking to him

Rod mason and his team then looked all around to find very many entities encircling them all, even with the teams just above rods team as well as with the origami.

“girls! Were surrounded by entities all over!” flores said panicking over at what she saw at the sensors

Rod then cuts the transmission

Down below at the bottom of the hole, rod and the team was still hearing the voices of entities.

“tell me, are you all spirits? Aliens?” rod said to break the ice

Rod was angry again but he knew this would never solve the situation. With one deep breath and lowering his sword, he calmed himself down. The girls was about to say something when they saw rod in one of the video feeds from the team what hes doing and yukiko stopped them.

“true, humans does all that and they can never learn from their mistakes because of pride and stubbornness. But humans have hope! Hope for a bright tomorrow! To still save the planet! to make more wonders! Believe in us! We are still worth saving!”

They then heard screams again but this time, it was more intense as it sounded like they are struggling to get to rod.

Then at the side, rod and his team saw a distortion opening up near them and saw the children coming out unconscious. Some of the team members then goes to the children and collected them.

With that, they flew upwards along with the other members that stood by along the way.

Rod didn’t answer as he knew in his instincts that it might lead to accepting such an impossible mission from the start though he knew in his heart that he will try, for the sake of the future of his children. Along the way, they all saw very many entities gathering around them as well as some gigantic entities waiting just outside the hole. With that, they came back to the origami and set coordinates back to Moscow to deliver the children.

When they arrived at Moscow, it was now early in the morning at 3am, when they delivered the children to a hospital. After that, they flew towards their next destination slowly as they all sleep for the night.

“hey rod, was that the right decision in broadcasting the whole thing?” Sheryl said when they were all in their bed.

“maybe, I don’t know. Maybe, I just wanted for the world to know that what their doing is seriously annoying.”

“I know. Until now, he is still undecided if he should stay or not. He wants to mourn for their death but it he also thinks that this whole team is also his family.”

Rod had no comments as it was really awkward to respond

“they are all fine. I took care of them but you girls should also take care of them too. I don’t have enough breasts you know.” Kaori said pouting

“o-okay. We will try to manage.” Maria said and the others agreed

“speaking of food, I wonder how our parents are.”

“can we visit our families by the time the last 2 missions are over?” flores

“right answer. We cant have them all brought together so that they can be targeted by some lunatic.” Sheryl

“we should ask for their answers by tomorrow. For now, lets all sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.”

After that, they all slept and the next day, they asked the 2 girls for their answer.

“have you girls decided yet what to do?” Stacey said as rod and the girls were all gathered at the cargo hold

“rod, we seriously need a more spacious ship. The cargo hold is like almost full with all of them sleeping.” Sheryl said to rod

“o-okay. I hope our company is still making project exodus. Those old guys might abandon the project all together.” Rod

“you also remember what those entities said? That the planet is in need of rods help?” Stacey said butting in to their conversation

“hey guys, its time to hear their decision.” Maria said to the 3 who were having a meeting by themselves

“o-oh yeah. So ling, eliya, whats your decision?” Sheryl said as they go near the girls

“though we also have spots for you here, we cant just force anyone to take part of this team.” Rod

“hmm.. the offer is quite good but we still need more time to think.” Ling said and eliya nodded

“think hard and well girls. though you can also contact your families with your decision.” Maria

“really?” ling

“yes. you can just borrow this satellite phone to call your families.” Maria said before she gave one satellite phone

“now where are we off to now boss?”

“to Africa.”

“this is the origami to African air control requesting permission to enter air space.”

“this is air control to origami. Please state your permission code.”

“international license code 239098333 for hurricane rescue unit.”

A moment of silence

“this is African air control, you are clear to enter. Have a safe flight.”

“thank you.”

“rod, were dear to enter African air space.” Maria

“alright. Onward to the African rain forest”

They then flew onwards to the African rain forest for a few minutes where somewhere in the rainforest, there was a group of scientists waiting for them. On the skies of the rainforest, the scientists saw the origami close by and later on saw rod descending from the origami.

“hi rod mason! Glad you’re here. I heard your team specializes in things like this.” the scientist said in his outdoor attire

“this like what? Can you show me?”

“sure. And im abu ful had by the way.” He then shook hands with rod as they walk inwards in the forest

“im rod—“ rod then removes his helmet

“everybody knows who you are. you are rod mason, the rescue man.”

“really? Everybody just calls me that lame name?”

“its really not that lame actually. Its really an honor to be named by the people as a hero.”

“ah.. no. they might just want someone to name something to do the dirty work. Besides, heroes are those who contribute more to society like scientists and engineers.”

“is that really how you perceive a hero rod mason?”

“hmm.. sometimes.. anyways, what are we looking for?”

They then arrive at a waterfall where there was a small boat to cross over.

“I guess it has something to do under that waterfall”

“good guess rod. and its going to get weirder by the second.”

Rod then hovers towards the waterfall with his helmet where they saw inside the waterfall, a giant tree bark. As they go near the tree bark, they saw some kind black orb inside the tree bark as the tree bark was sort of broken at the middle.

“have you guys already sent drones inside?”

“yes. but it didn’t display any feed at all, just black.”

“I see.” rod then gets his tools from his sling bag where he got all kinds of meters to read energy.

Rod then tests the energy readings and it was way off the charts.

“hey Stacey, are you getting all of this?”

“yes. its like something we have never seen before.” Stacey said over the comms

“maybe it’s a rift in space and time continuum.”

“that’s what we though as well so we didn’t even dare go near it. It was first discovered about 3 days ago by some forest campers who just wants to take pictures in the wild. They said they just want to picture anything behind the waterfall when they found this.”

“I see. might I ask if there are any legends regarding this kind?”

“not that I know of. But I do know of a village nearby that might be able to answer.”

“alright then. I will just wait for you here.”

The scientist nodded and goes back to the little boat for the request. But when rod removed his helmet to breath the fresh air as he turned around towards the waterfall, rod then heard voices in his head.

“aren’t you frustrated by your past?”

“don’t you ever want to change it?”

The voices were dizzying him as he could only touch his hands to his head.

“mankind has made us suffer enough.”

“we have been waiting for someone like you for decades.”

“a chosen one. With you, you might be able to change history.”

“change your past.”

“be free of your shackles.”

“back to the beginning where you wouldn’t be shackled by your own past?”

“they have already warned you of the dangers with humans.”

“humans have already taken almost everything from you!”

“despite being human, you were wiser than them”

“out of everyone on the planet, you were the only one compatible for all those souls”

“you who are still innocent yet knows”

“you who are a fool yet very wise beyond your years”

“you who is free of sin yet have sinned”

“you who is both dark and light”

“you who has courage yet is very afraid”

“give in to us. We will save you.”

“you have already done enough”

“its time for you to rest.”

“give in to us”

“we will save you from everything”

“yet grant you everything as well”

With that, rods eyes glowed as he slowly walked towards the medium sized black orb. There, he saw flashes of nerves delivering signals, flow of the water, atoms moving, cells dividing, the life energy from the trees to the entire planet, time, space, the past. He was now travelling along the corridors of the quantum energy where every information in the universe is stored as well as memories.

Then he saw a planet filled with life and full of crocodile like people. They were a warrior race of cold blood filled with fighters who fights one another to the bitter end. Wars always rage on with their civilization as they also further advance their own technology. By the time they reached outer space, they were able to reach other planets in their solar system and continued with their cannibalism rituals in there. They all did this until there was no life left in their solar system that they resorted to creating artificial life only to eat it as they also go outwards towards the vast reaches of space to find a new meal.

Then he saw the images of him with the girls, their good times, his image when the babies were born, the times when he saved the world, the times when the girls were injured because of him, the smiles that he brought to families after every rescue, the times when they weren’t able to sleep at night because of the people sleeping at their doorstep, the good times with his family as little as it may be, the time when he first read his first science book, then the first time he saw his first anime.

“no, this is not the way. I want to live! I want to have a future!” then inside the corridors of the quantum, he struggled to break free as it is his will. “rrraaa!! I want to raise the future! To live life to the fullest!”

With that, he clenched his fists and slowly walks back from the black orb while shouting as it was almost sucking him in. the black orb was slowly increasing in size as winds suddenly raged on just outside the waterfall almost like sucking everything in.after a few seconds of struggle, he was finally at the tip where the water falls then the black orb suddenly disappeared leaving rod to kneel as he breathed heavily and being tired.

After he regained some of his strength he searched for his helmet but was nowhere to be found so he just flew without the helmet making himself a bit wet. He then saw the scientist with the small boat who was approaching the waterfall carrying a native.

“rod, where are you going?”

“probably back. So what did you find out?”

“I was in the nearby village asking for the chief to tell any story about a black orb by the waterfall. But the chief instead wants to go here so I brought him here.”

The chief bows to rod and spoke to the scientist introducing rod to the chief and pointing towards the waterfall.

“abu, can you ask for any stories about the black orb?”

The scientist then asks the chief. “there was a legend past between chiefs that there was once a time when the orb appeared under the waterfall. Legend tells that the orb would grant anyone who deems it worthy wisdom and knowledge beyond his years and any who aren’t worthy only meets death.”

“so what does it say about any orbs disappearing?”

“what?!”

“just ask him.”

The scientist then asks the chief. “legend says that it will only go once it is done with its mission. It will only return in times of need.”

“uhh.. that was a bit..”

“yeah.. far fetched right? so why are you now going rod?”

“the orb disappeared.”

“what!!”

“umm.. can you tell that to the chief?”

“o-okay. Whatever you say.”

The scientist then said to the chief of what happened and the chief reacted with amazement and worry.

“well.. I better go now.”

“wait rod. the request also includes finding one of the hikers who got lost inside that waterfall.”

“umm.. since the black orb disappeared, there is nothing I could do anymore.”

“seriously! What happened!?”

“umm.. I almost got sucked by the black orb but I managed to snap out of the trace I was in and was able to get out.”

“trance?”

“the black orb tempted me to go inside. I couldn’t quite resist back then but I eventually snapped out of it.”

The chief was always pulling at the scientist shirt and he explained the situation to the chief. Then the chief said something to the scientist.

“the chief wants you to come to the village.”

“why?”

“I don’t know.”

Then the chief said something to the scientist. “rod, this is for a ceremony it seems.”

“o-oh.. it would be rude to refuse right?”

The scientist then asked the chief and both nodded.

“okay then. First things first, can I have a towel?”

After giving rod a towel, they go to the village where he was given a ceremony of celebration as he was being painted in the face. After that, rod bids his farewell to the village and flies upwards to the origami where he explained everything to the girls as they were now going to the next mission.

“that really happened rod?!” Sheryl

“true that it gave an energy output which was off the charts but I couldn’t believe it would do that.” Stacey

“and with that legend, it all seems to fit in some way. Did it give you any more extra knowledge and wisdom?” yukiko

“from everything that I saw, nothing more. Though what bothers me seriously—“

“are the images that you saw. The image of reptilians just like from your book.” Maria

“yes. it really bothers me.” Rod said as he was massaging his head in his seat

“according to your book, those reptilians are cold blooded warriors that eats everything right?” flores

“yes. you all who have read my book should have known.”

“what the hell. I couldn’t believe something like that exists.” Sheryl

“you better believe it sheryl. I was being hypnotized by the entities the moment I removed my helmet to literally go towards the black orb.”

“good thing you weren’t sucked up or else we wouldn’t even know what to do.” Yukiko

“though after some time reviewing the footage down below in your position, there were signs of some activity by the water.” Flores said as she was reviewing the footage taken from the origami and from rods helmet

“whatever the case, we must never tell any of this to the world leaders.”

“true, if the world leaders would hear this, they would seriously freak out or just wouldn’t believe you. but they would also have the right to know right?” Sheryl

“lets all just keep this to ourselves just to be safe.”

“though we should—“ flores

“besides, the pentagon is always monitoring us via satellite so that we wouldn’t do any crazy ideas. They might be translating our conversation right now.”

“hmm.. you may be right about that. The US government does keep a lot of secrets and might always be watching.” Flores

“oh yeah, we also just recently finished putting the satellites back in orbit.” Maria

“but I think it was about only 8 of them? Maybe the US government is still busy with their multiple targets for observation.” Stacey

“never the less, we must all be on guard at all times. We cant just dismiss that fact.” flores

The girls then agreed to this as they now concentrate with the next mission.

Somewhere in the lands of queensland, Australia, rod visits his old friend Wesley chapman at his farm. By then, Wesley was just by the side of the fence watching the cows eat when he notices a big flying ship in the sky.

“no way. Whats he going to do with me now?” Wesley said as he sees the origami overlapping the sun

Then rod descends towards Wesley where he now has his hands on his waist.

“rod mason, glad to see you mate. What brings you to this side of the globe?” Wesley said as he hugs rod

“umm.. you can let go of me now.”

“o-oh.. sorry about that mate. Now what brings you here all of a sudden?” Wesley then lets go of rod

“ehem.. im here to invite you as my tour guide to get to the sacred mountain uluru.”

“what?! That’s a long way from here mate! Why would you like to bring me along there?”

“hmm.. just sight seeing with an old friend.”

“I know that’s always not your agenda.”

“hahah. Alright then. I came here for a request for a lost persons case.”

They then walked towards the fence watching the cows again

“I see. So what does this have to do with me?”

“maybe you could just come with me and guide me towards mount uluru where the request said there were some campers that was camping for the night in there when they just disappeared. Now their parents are searching for their whereabouts.”

“so why are you telling me all this? Cant you just fly there by yourself?”

“hahh.. you know as a friend, im very worried about you ever since your little incident with the treasure.”

“p-please don’t ever remind me of that ever again.” Wesley sticks out his hand to stop

“okay. and as something for you to get your head off of that, I thought that maybe a good adventure is needed.”

“hahh.. your always sticking your nose to the wrong places mate. Im just fine..”

“your already more or less 40 years old and you still haven’t got a girlfriend.”

“shut up! Mind your own business.” Welsey lightly punched his arms

“haha.. though as an adventure for one more time, for old times sake..”

“o-okay okay. just one more and that’s it.”

“deal.” They then shook hands where rod took Wesley to the origami

On the bridge of the origami.

“hello there Wesley. Nice to meet you again.” Sheryl said after they came in the door

“well hello ladies. How are you?” Wesley said as rod got to his seat

“just fine. As you can see, were already pregnant.” Maria

“o-oh.. there is seriously more of you now. Congratulations? And Just how many did rod—“

“all of us except for camellia there. And one more in our room tending to the babies.” Stacey

“hello again miss Stacey. Its been long ever since—“

“project atlantis, we know. To tell you the truth, we were against the fact of brining you along with us.” Flores

“even the military lady form before. Rod, just how many would you like until your satisfied?”

“hey Wesley! Don’t ever misunderstand. As long as we are here, rod is never allowed to make more than us, understand?” Sheryl said as she pointed her finger on Wesley

“u-uh.. yes maam.”

“now on to mount uluru yukiko.”

“got it. and mr Wesley, please don’t mess this up again. this is all we have left after all.” yukiko said to Wesley before she got back to the controls

“all you have left? What are you talking about?”

“let me explain. Ever since the last few big missions, the world literally couldn’t stand me and my meddling and demanded me for a trial or something that they would always rally in front of my company and my house.”

“what?”

“yes. whats more, my parents almost got hurt in the process as one of them threw a stone at my dad. There were even some foreigners in the mix.”

“how cruel of them. You should have done something about it rod.”

“I already did. In fact, didn’t you saw my latest video at the kola borehole?” rod

“no, I don’t have any internet in the farm. Its from my parents and I inherited it.”

“I see. Anyways, I would hope that with that last video, they would leave my company and my house alone.”

“hmm.. I don’t quite get it but if you would have requested the president—“

“we already did but the problem with the people is what they cant contain. Also since they are busy with the ongoing war against terrorism.” Flores

“okay then. So for now, this is supposed to be your home?”

“yes.” the girls said

“how cruel of them. They shouldn’t have treated a hero like this.”

“well, this is the real world actually.” Rod

“and its full of ignorant people.” The girls said

“anyways, lets just wait until we get to mount uluru. Our mission might still be the same as with the tunnels Wesley.” Rod

“please don’t remind me of that again. im seriously reflecting on that.”

“if your talking about the recent activity of entities, I think its still very active now just because of us.” Rod

“really? Then I might have no reason to be here anymore.”

“wait, don’t tell me your scared.” Stacey

“i-im not scared. I j-just have a lot to do on my farm.”

“for someone who has a lot to do, you sure are relaxed down there.” Maria

“ahaha..” Wesley just could say anything else with the awkward atmosphere

“hahh.. anyways Wesley, this is just for one mission only. Just chill.” Rod

“o-okay then. So.. where do I sit?”

“sorry Wesley, all chairs are occupied.” Sheryl

“okay then. I will just stand in here.”

“oh and don’t ever go to the cargo hold just so you could flirt down there. We have important guests as well which you must never touch.” Yukiko declared

“okay then. I will stay right here where I can see the view.”

With that, Wesley had no more comments along the way until they finally arrived at mount uluru. And in there, rod brought the whole assault team to try and find anything that leads to finding the missing people until they found a cave opening at one side. There, they enter the cave with their flashlights on until they entered a giant tavern brimming with light as it enters small holes in the ceiling. There they enter the tavern also filled with lots of rocks at all sides.

“team, don’t forget to also turn on your spectral gear.”

“yes sir!”

“why again am I here? and this time, not wearing any armor like you guys?” Wesley

“were actually short on armor right now. So just suck it up Wesley. You also have me not wearing any helmet.”

“at least you have a detector sunglasses with you.”

“it’s a spectral visor. Though you got a point. Anyways, lets all keep our guards up.”

Then there in the ceiling, they saw a faint sign of a distortion.

“sir! We found a distortion right above the left side.”

“sir! I also found one just behind that rock over the corner.”

Until they then saw a faint image of distortions all around them as well as red entities slowly appearing.

“sir! Were all ready when you are!”

Rod and the whole team now had their energy swords turned on ready to fend off entities. But then rod and Wesley heard voices from the entities.

“rod mason”

“come here for humans”

“foolish humans.”

“why save humans?”

“because they are all innocent!” rod

“are you sure?”

“some are greedy.”

“what are they saying rod?” Wesley said as he got behind rod

“we have humans”

“they are guilty”

“what would you like to exchange for their life?” rod

“him.”

“your friend.”

“foolish friend.”

“steal treasure.”

“hide Solomon treasure”

“hey Wesley, you still got some of that treasure with you?!” rod

“no! I already gave it all to the Egyptian president back then.” Wesley

“lies!”

“sentence for death”

“guilty”

“Wesley..” rod was now angry

“alright! I might have kept some of the coins and sold it off at a local pawn shop! I needed money back then!” Wesley

“hahh.. will you spare my friend instead?” rod

“you wish for yours?”

“your chosen”

“why?”

“umm.. what do they mean by chosen rod?”

“hahh.. then just release those which are not guilty! And I will take care of them.”

“humans still sin!”

“guilty!”

“what have those innocents ever did to you guys? You can just release those which have no ulterior motives in coming here.” rod

“rod, shouldn’t we just fight them instead?” Wesley

“no. they all outnumber us from 40 to a hundred maybe. Its like a whole town in here.”

The entities didn’t move for a while.

“rod mason.”

“it’s a deal.”

“innocent free”

“guilty die.”

“leave friend alone.”

“REPENT ON SIN!!”

“HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA”

With that, a couple of the distortions opens up widely where they saw the victims.

“team, slowly take them out now. We don’t want to fight these entities.” Rod

“yes sir!”

They slowly took out the victims from the distortions and go their way back. They were only able to rescue about 10 people.

“hey! Can I just take a picture of the guilty ones?” rod

“hey rod! we should really be going now!” Wesley said as he grabbed one of the victims

“yes.”

With that, rod was granted access to some distortions which had opened up to many people all in adventure outfits, though many of them wore sunglasses while only one of them didn’t and they were all unconscious. Rod then took pictures of every one of them.
