“now then, how will I be able to locate those criminals.. they should also be using communications by now.”

He then remembers his training with thor and Hercules

*ching!*

The sound of jasons sword and thors hammer vibrated as sparks of electricity scatter everywhere

“whoa!! With this, I couldn’t even come near you guys.” hercules said taking a step back

“haha! You can just wait for your turn there my friend! Im still enjoying my spar with Jason here.” Thor said smiling at Jason

“yes, he has really gotten better at this.” Hercules said while standing down for now

Both thor and Jason then jumped back to stand guard once more.

“say thor, in case if I would need to locate my enemies, how will I do that?” Jason

“its really easy. Though as you are now at the new age, communications might be best--”

“hmm.. alright then, lets give it a try.”

with that, he then felt the electricity flowing through the air for any radio waves and feels if ever the contents of the message or call is really good or bad. After a while of standing at the center of the road, as the road by that time was now deserted, he felt a bad feeling.

“oh, I almost forgot.” He then remembers that he was carrying a large sword

He then disassembled the sword so that it would go back to cement and poured it into the holes in the road before he ran towards the local high way and hitched a ride at a local motorcycle. After some time of guiding the motorcycle near the squatters area, he got off and infiltrated the place. It was already night time that time and the people are already at their homes while Jason was walking towards one of the houses in the maze of houses in the squatters area.

As he arrived, he then knocks at the door of that house deep inside the maze and knocked on the door.

“certainly, the signal leads to this house.” He whispers as he looks at his watch

It was now 9:30 as he also examines the area to have no people around at the time. He checked the door to be locked up so he used the materials from both the door and the ground to make the mask and sword again before he draws the main electron from inside the large sword. He then puts the large sword on his back before he enters the house. And as he reached towards one of the rooms, he immediately opened the door to see 3 people doing drugs on a bed.

“greetings people, im here to arrest you all.” Jason said while pointing the sword at them

“whoa! What are you going to do with that sword?” one of them said as the 3 of them were surprised by the sudden visit

“how will you threaten us when there is just one of you?”

The 3 people then stood up towards Jason. Jason was also holding the sword at the neck of one of them.

“this may be a little old fashioned, but are you all sure to stand up against me?” Jason said smiling

“so what are you going to do about it?”

Suddenly, the one which had the sword at his neck felt a sudden jolt

“ouch!” he said as he stepped back

They then saw that the sword itself emitted electricity and they all cowered in fear.

“now surrender yourselves and tie yourselves to any rope that you can find.” Jason said as he held the sword pointed at the 3 people again.

“y-yes sir!”

With that, the 3 men tied themselves up without any resistance from both their hands and their feet.

“now sleep, all of you. So that at sunrise, you will all feel justice.”

Jason then left the house and remade the door to it once was before he left the mask at the front door, molding it first into a regular plastic mask leaving no trace of his finger prints, and left a note scratched at the wooden door. And as always, he walked normally through the maze of houses before he hitched a ride again back to the highway near their house. As he watched his watch, it was now 10:00pm, which meant that he only has a little time left. And when he arrived back to their house, he then jumped to climb the fire escape ladder at the side of their house back towards the rooftop.

“it seems no one is here yet.” Jason said after peeking at the rooftop before getting into it.

And so, he was able to get back to his room undetected before he slept. Then in the morning on the next day, the event was now on the news.

“we take you now live where the police has found 3 suspects in the squatters area. According to the suspects testimonies, they said that they saw a masked man wearing just a sleeveless shirt and shorts wielding a sword that emits electricity. Here we have commander espaniola who also came on the scene.”

“we currently have over 3 suspects which are charged in the case of drug handling which had over 10,000 pesos worth of drugs in their possession. For now, we are still investigating any leads towards how they were captured since they said that last night, a man in a mask suddenly enters their room telling them to restrain themselves.”

“who could have been the vigilante behind this?”

“we still don’t know. All he left was just his mask and some scribbles on the door with a message.”

The commander then points to the skull mask which was made out of plastic which had a very wide eye opening.

“what was the message?”

“it says that I have arrested the criminals who are using drugs. The door is unlocked so please catch them. I would really love to catch this new vigilante and complain about what he has done.”

“I see. So is there any chance you guys can catch the culprit?”

“were still investigating any evidences left behind so for now, we can only expect to send these 3 suspects to the rehabilitation center. Luckily, they weren’t able to erase anything from their phone which we were also able to trace their messages towards the number of one seller.”

“wow! Does this mean..”

“yes. we have a lead on one of the sellers now and were currently tracking his phone.”

“should you really say that out loud sir?”

“its alright. Only a few people ever watch the local news anyways.”

“hmm.. who could be that masked vigilante? Since he was able to catch those criminals red handed.” Jaime said as she was watching TV in their store

“maybe hes also as dangerous as the others. But at least he caught those criminals without killing them.” Jericho

“yes. it even led to maybe some drug sellers along the way. So if you ever encounter something like that Jason, you should just run the other way.” Jaime

“yes mom, I know. Anyways, whats in other news?” Jason said to divert their attention

again, at night, Jason would always find a way to go undetected towards their rooftop and do the same pattern all over again. And now he was somewhere at the residential areas where he was able to sense a bad feeling. As usual, he parks near the place and gets off the motorcycle so that he can just walk. And there in a dark place, he would form the mask and some gloves first before he goes walking towards his destination to avoid any CCTV footage capture.

After a few minutes of walking, he finally reached his destination which was like a regularly quiet house. Then he forms his sword using the materials on the ground and on the metal gates, leaving the door open for him to enter. And silently, he goes through the gates and melts the doorknob as he enters the house to find a couple of people at the back busy packing drugs and money into bags.

“ehem!” he said and the people then turned to him. “surrender now or face my wrath.”

Jason then pointed his sword towards them.

“boss, what do we do?”

“fool. He only has a sword where we have guns.”

They then brought out their magnums and pointed at him

“you seriously have a death wish or something pal”

“what the heck can you even do when we outnumber you and we have guns.”

“your seriously asking that?” Jason said as electricity then flowed out of the sword

“hah! What the hell can that do to us?! Drop the weapon now or we will shoot!”

“no you wont. Though this would be my last warning, please drop your weapons and surrender yourself.” Jason said as he amped up the volume of electricity

“no way. You got a death wish, so be it.”

They then shoot at Jason but wasn’t able to hit him because of the high voltage net around him, attracting all the bullets towards the sword.

“is that all you got?” Jason said as he flicked his sword to the side bouncing all the bullets to the side.

They shoot again, but this time with all their bullets but every bullet wasn’t able to reach him at all.

“even if you got yourself a sword, you wont be able to beat all of us!”

Jason then unsheathe his sword towards his back as the people were now attacking him in close combat. After a while of self defense, Jason was able to throw all of them towards a corner where they were left unconscious. And there, he undressed all of them and used their clothes to tie them all up before splashing a lot of water at their clothes. After finding a paper and pen where he wrote his message again, he left the house as he remade the doorknob from all the molten drops and restored the gates to it once was and left the note.

He then walks until he found the local highway before he melted the mask and his gloves at the side of the road, molding it like a poop of cement. He then hitched a ride near his house and does the same thing again. And as usual, his parents didn’t seem to notice him at all as he entered his room again and checked the time to be exactly 10:30, just right on time before he would sleep.

“here we are again as the reaper strikes once more! We are currently at a residential area where a couple of thugs were captured yet again. Commander espaniola is also here on the scene leading the investigation.”

They then go inside the house where the commander was watching all around the house.

“commander, what are your thoughts in all of this?”

“the reaper strikes again the second time and this time, with a couple of sellers. If only we could get a hold him.”

“commander, why are you calling him the reaper?”

“as we currently have no evidence against this guy, and that he just left us his mask, we would call him the reaper. And since I also sensed that this guy might strike again. In any case, he must also be brought to justice! Does he also think that what he is doing is legal?”

“but you also got some information out of their phones right?”

“yes. I hate to admit but he helped. But this doesn’t mean that he is off the hook for trespassing on private territory.”

“so what happened to the criminals?”

“they were all tied up using their clothes, all of them only wearing their briefs. We also suspected that there was a gunfight since some of the neighbors heard gunshots and that there were many bullets being fired which all of them didn’t give off any blood. There wasn’t even any sign of entry with the gates and the doors.”

“whoa.. the reaper strikes again. What might be his motive in doing all this right?” Jericho said as both he and Jason was watching the news again

It was the next day when his father watched TV as there were no customers yet.

“dunno. Maybe hes just arresting the because he wants to help the president.” Jason

“maybe. There are really some people who would go to the extremes.”

“yeah. like in the news last time.”

“this city is getting even more dangerous than I thought.”

“anyways, lets switch channels dad. How about we watch a movie?”

“okay.”

Then again, every random night as he still does the same thing everytime he sensed something wrong or the contents of the waves in the air. And everytime, he would always bust down all the drug users and the drug sellers.

"why is this happening to us now?! And who is this reaper?!"

In the pool side in a big house where the boss was complaining after another bust from the reaper. He was also watching a portable TV at the local news channel.

"we dont know boss. Its just that he always sensed everyone maybe everytime a transaction is made."

"he has always been interferring with all our business transactions. He even doesnt leave any evidence behind with him. Just who do you think is this reaper huh.." the boss said as he was drinking some tanduay.

"sir, you have a text from another one of our contacts saying they will be going out of the city now."

"why is that? And are they coming back?"

"it also says that they wont be coming back until the problem is resolved."

"now other dealers are bailing out which leaves only me. Maybe i should lay low for now but i will also try to find this reaper and give him a piece of my mind."

"he has even busted some of our transactions right boss?"

"yes. He must pay for all my losses. Alright men, search the city for him before he damages even more of my sales."

"yes sir. And should we also get more users?"

"maybe not now. But if you could also find one walking in the streets at night, then thats more than welcome for me."

But then, he heard a firefight just right outside the house. It startled him where he immediately walked towards his room with all his guards following him. And at the stairs where they head upstairs, they were able to see the sight of the reaper. After a quick dash towards the bosses room, the boss then locked himself in his room holding a gun in his hand. After a few moments of gunfire heard just outside his room, he readies himself after the sounds of gunfire stopped and the door opens.

“don’t come near me!” the boss said with fear and sweat all over

“why is that?” Jason said with a grudging voice

“i-I got a gun and you only got a sword! Don’t you care for your life?!”

“yes I care. But you on the other hand.. have sinned.”

“just what did I ever do to you huh? All I ever did was business!”

“business if flourishing right boss?”

“y-yes. and whats that for you?”

“just how many years have you been in this business?”

“s-six years.. w-why?”

“and here I lay my judgement upon you. For ruining the lives of many people as well as always disturbing the peace of both worlds.”

“what worlds are you talking about?! Are you crazy?!”

He then walks forward towards the boss with his blade pointed at the nozzle of the gun.

“nope. But its true that you guys have disturbed both worlds. Both heaven and hell. Im just here to set the balance.” With that, his sword was now at the tip covering the nozzle

With a flicker of electricity, a jolt was sent to the barrel of the gun exploding all the bullets in the gun. As the bullets exploded, it hurt the bosses hand a bit and lets go of the gun.

“ow! What was that for?”

“you know, the reapers weapon is always a scythe right? But they never said anything about it being its only weapon.” He then points the sword to the bosses neck

The boss then felt a tingle pain in his skin as electricity flowed a bit

“ow! Like I said!—“ he said as he stepped back

Then he saw electricity flowing on the sword.

“if you want to live, please tie yourself in any way.”

The boss was now in fear as he viewed the whole situation altogether.

“i-I have handcuffs. Does that work?”

“yes. now put it on.”

“yes sir.”

He then got the handcuffs from his drawer and cuffed himself on the drawers legs.

“by the way, what were you going to use it for?”

“i-its none of your business alright!?”

“okay then.” With that, he jolted the boss like a taser gun so he could fall unconscious.

Then he went out of the house carrying all their phones to deliver it to the local mall which was closed for the night and with a note.

“we bring you live from the local mall that a plastic filled with phones was found on the entrance with a note saying the address of the owner of the phones. The police are now currently investigating it where the phones are now being taken to the crime lab. We now have a witness here willing to confess.”

“yes! I saw it! I saw everything! It was night and I saw a person! Covered in electricity and wind! And then it left that plastic bag at the front door and looked at me as it passed through. It was scary I tell you. Like its eyes were glowing with some heavy breathing.” The poor bystandard said

“I see. Is there anything else that you noticed about this person?”

“no. aside from him just wearing a sleeveless and shorts. And that he just left at the back side of the mall.”

“so what did you also do with the plastic bag?”

“I just looked at it at a distance. I was afraid what it might be and just continued to sleep.”

“I see. Thank you. And—“

“looks like the reaper strikes again. This time, it’s a big one.” Jericho

Again, Jason and Jericho was watching the local news as it was only the 2 of them on the store

“yes, it looks like it.” Jason

“son, I have a question. What would you like to do now?”

“like what?”

“like going back to school or something.”

“well.. that might be good and all but jade is still at school right? Finishing her second course at law school.”

“are you sure?”

“yes dad. Im sure.”

“alright then.”

But then for some time after that, there wasn’t any more bad feeling in the air.

“hey dad, I think im going to start searching for a job again. Can i?” Jason said one morning at their store

“yes. and when would you like to leave?” Jericho

“maybe 3 days from now.” jason

“would you like some company?” Jericho

“that’s okay. I can go on my own.” Jason

“yes son. And where would you like to get a job?”

With that, he smiles and tells him of his plans. 3 days later, he took the bus and had gone to CDO for another job hunt and stayed at his aunts place. there, he also saw in the local news of some news about more drugs busting and more crime. And after they ate dinner, right after he got to his aunts house, he asks to stroll just right outside of the house. But it was also then that he changed into his sleeveless and walked to hitch a motorcycle ride at the nearest highway.

And again, by following the biggest bad feeling, he arrived near a deserted road where he stopped to walk towards an abandoned warehouse. There, he also tries to sense of any flowing electricity if there are cameras around before taking a peek at the middle of the warehouse.

“do you have the goods?”

There were many men inside the warehouse as Jason tried to peek

“yes. I have it right here.”

One of the men then presented a suitcase where the other inspects it to have drugs in it.

“and what about the other goods?”

“right there.” the man that presented the suitcase pointed to one of the men behind a car

The man behind the car then opened the trunk to find a couple of high powered guns.

“good. And here is the payment.” He then presents another suitcase with the payment on it

But right when they were about to count the money and inspect the goods, they noticed the door to the warehouse suddenly dismantling, leaving one side open. Then Jason shows himself as the reaper.

“who are you?!” all the men then drew their guns

“you all have disturbed the balance. You all must now pay the price.” Jason said in a grudging voice while holding his sword downwards. The sword that was also used was the thin one.

“we have no time for any heroics!”

“since you have seen us, you can never leave. Surrender now!”

“no. you surrender now.” Jason then points the sword where it emitted electricity

Jason was now able to attract all their guns and all the metal that they have and threw it all away at the side.

“w-who are you?! What do you need from us?!”

Jason then puts the sword in front of him where there was electricity flowing through the ground and into the metal of the warehouse, forming an electric prison.

“like I said, you have disturbed the peace of both worlds.” jason

“what worlds? We only have one world! are you crazy?!”

“no. the worlds that I meant was with both heaven and hell. Now surrender yourselves.” Jason said as he starts to walk towards them

Then some of the men ran towards the guns and when they were able to get the guns, they fired upon him but all the bullets were attracted towards his sword. They all fired until there was no bullets left.

“what are you?” one of the men said as they cowered in fear.

“I am your worst nightmare.” Jason said as he flicked all the bullets towards the side

There, he let out a low voltage electricity all around the place, stunning all of the men in the warehouse. After that, he dragged all the bodies at the middle of the road and undressed them only to tie them using their clothes. He then walked away where after some distance, he remade the sword back to a metal door along with his mask and gloves before he walks away towards the highway. And as he also walked, where there was a camera in the distance, his image was being distorted due to the electrical field around him.

“we bring you live to an adandoned warehouse where at 6, early in the morning, some civilians was able to come across a group of men tied up on the road. Here we have commander opao which is also on the scene.” The local news reported the next day

“it was reported early in the morning for a group of men which were tied up in the middle of the road. And as we also investigated this abandoned warehouse, it contained a car filled with guns and 2 cases both filled with money and drugs.”

“so what were these people doing anyway?”

“they might be doing some kind of transaction but was thwarted by someone. As there are no evidence aside from one of the doors seeming to be at some distance away from the warehouse, we still continue with the investigations.”

“I see. So what might be the culprits objective?”

“I don’t know. Though we are still continuing investigations with this new case.”

“and what does this also have to do with the other incidents that hit at some areas?”

“I don’t know either since all of those incidents were very far away from each other.”

“really? So there is really no clue being left in each site of the incident?”

“yes, and that’s what made this situation very weird actually.”

“thank you commander. And this is CDO local news channel, reporting out.”

Then days later, with night after night of drug busting and capturing criminals and as it was also the last day of his job searching, he then got back home where his next job hunt would be back in cebu which he stayed again in another aunts place.

“so how was your job hunting in CDO Jason?” his aunt asked the evening he arrived from job hunting

“just fine aunt.”

“were you having trouble in finding a job there?”

“yes, I did. But at least I tried. Anyway, its time for me to tackle cebu again. Maybe this time, I would land a decent job.”

“I see. And I also heard from what happened, im just glad that your not hurt or something.”

“me too. Im never going back to that call center ever again. Anyways, whats for dinner?”

Then at night again, he once more make his way towards the rural parts of the city where he sensed a very big bad feeling. There he went some distance from a nightclub where he hid on a dark corner without any light and cameras where he formed the reaper once more before proceeding to the night club. Then inside the night club, as he enters, the people only thought of him as some idiot in a cosplay while all the people were watching.

“listen people! You have all sinned!” Jason said after he went up the stage.

All the people around the room were surprised and thought that he might be a nutjob.

“what are you doing there? searching for a mental hospital?”

“no. you all have sinned. As for the reason, its what you all keep hidden.” Jason

Jason then touched the sword to the ground to emit electricity towards the whole building which also stunned everyone inside the building. And from there, he changed his voice and called the police before he left towards where he came through as well as cloaked himself with an electric field to obscure any cameras. There, he also melted the reaper, only leaving the mask and walked a little more distance just to hitch a taxi ride towards near his aunts house.

“here we are on the scene inside a nightclub where it was reported to the police that there was an incident and when the police arrived, there was a lot of people unconscious on the floor of this nightclub. Here we have the commander standing behind me inside the nightclub as the police is still inspecting the crime scene.”

“yes. were currently investigating the crime scene right now and found about 68 unconscious people along with 500,000 pesos worth of drugs and with some guns at the back. There were also people who were in the rooms upstairs which were all people having affairs in bed.”

“so how did all this happen?”

“we don’t know. But the current investigation leads to somewhat of a standstill as there were no clues to be found. Though we also did found a mask just right outside some distance from the nightclub which was also with the shape of a skull.”

“i see. So why do you think the mask was left?"

"maybe as a sign of something coming its way, i dont know. But were currently investigating everything right now."

"thank you commander.--"

"hey jason, how was your day at work?" his aunt said while they were watching TV and his aunt preparing dinner.

"just fine aunt. Already tried my best and i hope its all good."

"i see. So what will you do from now on?"

"just wait until one of them replies to me. Though i would still go to some other places to find work by tomorrow."

"i hope you also get work by then."

"yes, i hope so too. Well, is dinner ready yet?"

"yes, almost done."

On the next day, he went to many places to find work such as schools, government offices, and other places where he could find work. But one time, he sensed a very bad feeling in the air so he followed that bad feeling on a taxi ride again to near a mansion. He then equipped the reaper after sensing there were no electronics outside before he goes to the mansion. He then bust open the gates with his electrical powers and entered the mansion where all the men noticed and warns him before shooting at him. He prevented every bullet from hitting him again by magnetizing his sword and pointing it forwards. He flickers all the bullets when all the men were finished firing and walked towards the mansion.

"w-who are you?! What do you want with us?!" one of the men said as others make a run for it.

"to bring back balance as you have all sinned."

Jason then jolts an electric shock from the sword towards the men, stunning them before running towards the entrance of the mansion to touch the sword to the floor and shocks the entire house, stunning everyone inside the house. And as he enters the house, he then saw the boss in the kitchen unconscious along with the other men carrying guns. The kitchen table was with a large bag filled with money and drugs. And from the pocket of one of the men, he brought out the phone and walked back towards where he came from where he called the police before leaving the phone and the mask and melting the reaper before he walked towards the highway and hailed a taxi.

"here we are at a mansion where we now report to you of another unique crime scene where men were found men unconscious inside the house. Here we have the commander again examining the scene of the crime. Lets all take a look inside." a reporter said as he was reporting outside the house

"commander, whats the progress of this case?"

"we are still also investigating this case, though there are certainly some similarities with the previous case."

"what similarities?"

"i think we might also have heard about rumors of a reaper always visiting place to place to bring balance or something. Since he always leaves the same trade mark mask in the middle of the street."

"what is this reaper you might speak of?"

"the reaper is a man clad in a mask clouded with electricity as said by some files in a far away city. Though dont worry, we will investigate and catch this vigilante."

"i see. I hope you could catch that vigilante. And that is all for the local news."

*ring*

"hi mom. I have a question i would like to ask."

"yes, what is it?"

"can i search for work in manila?"

"why is that? And where would you live? You would be away from us."

"its just for a while though. I will be alright, dont worry."

"of course i worry, im your mother. And where would you also stay?"

"i will stay with aunts at makati for now. Can i?"

"a-alright then. But please do be careful"

"really?!"

"yes son. I will inform your aunt now."

"thanks mom! Im currently using the internet to book a ticket roght now. When would be a good date mom?"

There was a bit of silence.

"dad said maybe 3 days after."

"okay then, 3 days after and i will go to makati to aunts place."

After that, he then bought plane tickets for makati city where he begins his new search for a new job.

In makati, he then begins to search for a new job after the time he arrived at his aunts house. He searched far and wide for any jobs that he could look for but none of it came back as of yet. Then he suddenly sensed another bad feeling which now led him to a mall where there were police tapes all over. Then on a dark corner away from the mall, he then formed the reaper and walked towards the mall.

"this is the police! Please hand over the hostages and surrender yourselves!" the police shouted outside

Inside, the terrorists had about 20 hostages strapped into a series of bombs where they also administered drugs to both them and themselves.

"you will never understand us! For we are here for a higher calling!" one of the terrorists said at the door

"please hand over the hostages!"

"then make our demands!"

"what is that?"

"we demand a helicopter and 10 million pesos in cash!"

"cant you make any other demands?"

"no! You listen to us or we kill them right now!"

The terrorist then gone back inside so that they could disperse all the hostages with highly explosive bombs which is set to detonate from a wireless switch.

But then, jason walked towards the mall to enter it. The media and some people with cameras also just arrived to shoot the scene.

"hey you! You shouldnt be allowed here!" the policeman warned

"i come to bring balance. Do not worry." jason said with glowing eyes and surrounded with electricity as he walked towards the mall.

He entered the mall normally where the terrorists all noticed him and started shooting but as always, he magnetized his sword to take all of the bullets flying towards him. Then once he walked towards the center of the mall, he touched the sword towards the floor where an electric surge went towards the entire mall, stunning everyone as well as frying the circuits of all the bombs. He then got out and walked back towards the crowd and flickered his sword filled with bullets.

All of the crowd wasnt able to say anything about the situation as well.

"guards, its alright now. You can arrest them." jason said as he faced the same officer again

"w-what about you? We should also question you."

"rest assured officers, im on your side."

With that, he lifted the sword where he levetaded and flew towards where he came from and melted the reaper before he went again back to job hunting. After that, news about a new hero flowed fast in the internet.

Then one night, while he also does the same thing by following a bad feeling, he ended up at an abandoned warehouse where a drug deal went on. And as usual, he thwarted the operation but then the police arrived, surrounding him.

"the reaper! We got you surrounded! Give up or be put down!"

Jason then walked outside with his sword.

"why are you here?"

"in the name of justice, you are hereby to be confined and have a right to a lawyer! Come with us now!"

Jason then saw the police all shivered as they held their guns.

"sorry, but no can do." jason then touched the sword to the ground where it released a high voltage electricity lifting all the police cars. And as there was also a helicopter, he lifted the sword towards the helicopter and made an electric whip which magnetized the helicopter. He then turned the helicopter to be magnetized to the top of the warehouse which all the weapons with the police were being magnetized, lifting all of it upwards.

"i will now take my leave for now. Please dont search for me. And all of this will wear off in about an hour or so."

With that, the police had no other option but to obey as he walked towards the distance.

"we are here right now at the police station where the reaper got away again! Im here now ith the police chief who has got something to say about it."

"thank you. I am chief tuba from the manila police. This what we call the reaper incident, started on a distant town down in mindanao. But then it came to CDO and cebu, then in makati."

"just who might this reaper be chief?"

"we dont know. But its for sure that the reaper might have come from that town. Our investigative team is already on the case as we speak."

"we think that he is a menace, a vigilante. Though we appreciate him helping the police, we can all take care of our own. He also has to make up for his crimes.

"what are his charges?"

Then after 3 hours, they finally arrived at the airport where they all ran towards the check in area

"girl. Where is jason wild right now?" the policeman said while being exhausted

"yes, i will try to hurry up sir."

After a few seconds

"sir, i have him now at flight 365J which will take off right at this minute."

"what?! Hey guys! Lets go!" the police man said towards the other officers

They then ran towards the hangar where the passage way was already closed. They showed their badges and walked down from the alternate way towards the run way where the plane has already took off.

"tch!."

"this is charlie to HQ, we missed our target."

"copy that charlie. I will call the local police in that town to restrain him."

"roger that, over."

When jason finally touched down back to his home town, he was presented by the local police where they hand cuffed him without any resistance.

"sir, where are we going? I still got to go home." jason said inside the patrol car

"we are going to the police station where the chief would like to have a word with you."

"why? What did i do?"

"shut up reaper, we know about your true identity."

"there wouldnt have also been some problem with me carrying my luggage, why is it left at the airport?"

"we got your belongings on the other car for safety purposes. Anyways, stay still until we arrive."

"okay." jason just nonchalantly answered

When they arrived at the police station, they havent noticed that the handcuffs were already in his front as they arrived at the commanders office.

"hello jason. So your the reaper."

"just what are you all talking about? Im just an ordinary citizen."

"just tell me everything that you know. We recently have a tip from the US military about you."

"really? And what does that say?"

"that you are the reaper. Please hold on as i patch you through the president directly."

When the commander turned to his own computer, he called the president via conference call. And after a few minutes, they were finally through.

"hello sir. This is commander espania reporting!"

The president was also in a meeting with the other generals.

"ah, yes. So is the reaper under custody?" richard said after noticing the call

"yes sir." espania

"hello sir! Im jason wild and im your number one fan!" jason said intruding and saluting

"commander, why is that guys handcuffs in his front?" richard

"really?" he then turned to see his hands on his shoulders

"dont worry. Im not a dangerous person." jason said as he let go of his shoulder.

The commander stared at him as jason laughed awkwardly

"clam down commander. I think he might not be a problem. Though he has got to tell me just how did he get his powers."

"uhh.. You know, i dont have any powers." jason

"liar! You must have powers or else invading a house without any evidence would never be possible!" commander

"i really dont know this reaper that your talking about." jason said with a serious face

"alright then. Lets put it like this. You will tell us all that you know or else we will take your family into custody along with you." richard said with a serious face

"you leave them alone! They arent part of this! And more importantly, i dont know this reaper that your speaking about." jason

"still insist on playing dumb huh." the commander then stood up and pulled his gun towards jason

And in that moment, he then lifted the gun upwards where they immediately followed with a battle of endurance. As jasons grip was very strong, the commander couldnt even budge.

"commander! I order you to stop at once!" richard shouted

Both of them looked at each other, the commander with some bloodlust and jason being cool before they let go.

"commander, if you please escort him to the airport where i will have a helicopter get him there." richard

"sir, with all due respect, i would still need to go back home." jason

"alright then. You got about 1 hour before the chopper arrives. Make it quick." richard said before he logged off

"i guess you will be escorting me to my home." jason

"yes, though reluctant i may be. Anyways, lets go."

The commander then accompanied jason towards his home where his parents were all worried about him.

"son, where have you been? I was trying to call you all day." jaime said as she hugged jason in their medium sized store

"and why is the police commander also here?" jericho

"dont worry about me sir, worry about your son. Im just here to escort him." commander

"mom, dad, im about to go on a trip alright? Please, trust me on this." jason

"where? You just got back home." jericho

"and whats with these handcuffs. Did something happen?" jaime said as she touches the handcuffs

"yes. Though im going to clear it up real soon. Please wait for me." jason

"alright then. We will trust you on this, but we are also coming with you." jericho

"no can do sir. Im only tasked to deliver him to the airport." commander

"cant we do something about it?" jaime

"maybe i can fit in one more person. But this will only be once alright?" commander

"thank you commander." jericho

"how about you dad, you be my company." jason

"okay then, as you say son. Though it would have been better to have all of us." jericho

"come on now, we should all now leave." commander said hurrying them up

"o-okay. Can i also pack my bags?" jericho

"no. Orders are for him to go in the airport in 1 hour." commander

"okay then. Lets now go." jericho

With that, they now go to the airport where a helicopter was waiting for them and flew towards the malacanang where the president was also waiting.

"your jason wild i presume.” Richard said as Jason got down from the chopper

“yes sir. but just why am I in chains when I have done nothing wrong?” Jason said lifting his hands

“sorry son, but its for security. Anyways, we just cant let you out of those handcuffs.” Richard said as a troop of men in black came from behind him to restrain Jason even further.

“well, I cant even blame you mr president, but all this is a little bit exaggerated.” Jason

“just what are you all doing to my son?! He didn’t even do anything wrong in his life!” Jericho fought against the men in black

“no sir, he hasn’t yet. But who knows in the future.” Richard said as now all the generals came in from behind him

Then in that moment, the men in black pushed Jericho away but as he still wouldn’t give up, they punched him and kicked him flying to the side.

“just what are you doing to my father?” Jason said with a serious voice

“don’t worry son, I will get you out of there.” Jericho

“im sorry sir, but this is for his own good. Im so sorry.” Richard

“well then, im sorry too dad. For this.” Jason

Then Jason released a shockwave deflecting everyone within a meter from him and molded both the ground and the handcuffs around him to form the reaper.

“I am actually the reaper. I congratulate you for pushing me very hard.” Jason said as he released a force field around them

During that time, richard was suppose to be escorted out of the premises but was instead trapped along with all the generals. Richard that time also resisted and insisted that he do something about the situation.

“dad, im sorry for keeping this from you. But as you all have now heard my story and still refuse to believe it, this was the only way now to open your eyes. Also, as you have already heard my story, this is now my mission.” Jason said as he gazed from his father to the president who was being protected by his men

Then gunshots were fired from all the people in front of him where he again magnetized all bullets into his sword until all of them now ran out of bullets. Jason flickered all the bullets to the side as he walked towards the president though as others also brought out knives, it was also being magnetized.

“sir, this is where I will tell you my mission now which came from the gods themselves.” Jason said as he walked near richard

Richard gulped and then came forward.

“what is it?” richard

“my mission is to correct the balance of the world. there will be an incoming threat in the future that no one would also anticipate.”

Jason then lifted his head up towards the direction of the satellite that was watching him before he put on his mask and with a glowing eyes.

“im glad to meet you mr president. I hope we become allies as well.” Jason said as he reached out his hand without the gloves

“i-im also glad to meet you.”

With that, Jason took off the mask with a smile as they shook hands.

“well now mr jason. how may we address you? The reaper or just Jason?” general tuba said as he also shook jasons hand

Jason then unsheathe his sword and gave the mask to richard before shaking hands.

“whatever pleases you guys. and you can also keep the mask if you want mr president.” Jason said with a smile

“ah, okay then. though can you relate to us on why your doing this?” richard

“alright then. though let us all talk inside. it now seems to be almost raining.” Jason said as he walked towards his father who was still sitting in the corner being shocked and all

“w-wait, s-so that was really you all this time?” Jericho

“yes. whenever I had the time, I would stop drug trading as best as I could.” Jason said as he lifted his father back to his feet

“why? And to what end would you stop? Drug wars are never easily fought, you should know that better.”

“I know. But this is my mission now dad. The gods gave me a 2nd chance in life so I plan on doing what must be done.” Jason said as richard was also listening

After that, they then go inside the malacanang building where they sat on his office and Jason talked about his experience along with all the generals listening.

“I see. So that’s what happened to you. Even still, you shouldn’t be doing those things at all.” Richard said in his chair

“yes, I know. But as I was being sent back by the gods themselves, I must fulfill my duty.” Jason

“and what is this duty of yours anyways?” Jericho

“to protect the planet and the whole universe from certain destruction. Also, helping ease with the flow of disturbance within us like fighting against drugs and all that.” Jason

“but doesn’t the police already have that handled?” Jericho

“yes. though not with the root of the problem.” Jason

“why wouldn’t you let us handle this problem all on our own? We are highly capable of the problem.” Richard

“yes, I know. But I just wanted to help. Anyways, I have also come for a prophecy from them.” Jason said with a serious face

“what is it?” richard

“a prophecy of an incoming destruction which might happen soon. Though first for that would be an incoming crisis.” Jason

“really? Like what?” richard

“if I would disclose my mission to you, would you trust me with everything?” Jason

“not everything, though I would trust you with it.” Richard

“what about you guys?” Jason asking the generals

“yes. maybe we will. Though you better make sure about your decisions.” Tuba

“me too son, im sure that me and the family will trust you.” Jericho

“alright then. though please do bear in mind that my mission isn’t a simple one. I would also need your help from time to time.” Jason

“sure, that’s no problem. Though we also have a little problem with you.” Tuba

“his case for trespassing against private property and some minor destruction of property.” Tuba

“I see. No matter. I can just serve the military for about 3 months for that right? Be stationed in Mindanao.” Jason
