Chapter 16:

The Time Guardians

Veil of the Shadow Hunter

The realm of the Time Guardians was a place both awe-inspiring and enigmatic, existing beyond the confines of conventional reality. As Leegna made his way to a hidden sanctuary, his thoughts wandered to the world of the Time Guardians—an intricate domain that operated on principles far beyond human understanding.

In this mystical realm, there stood a grand tower, a towering edifice that seemed to pierce the very fabric of time itself. This was the domain of the Time Guardians, a place where the delicate balance of the cosmic order was maintained. The tower was divided into four distinct floors, each serving a unique function in the guardians' ceaseless vigil over time and reality.

The First Floor: The Mirrors of Reflection

-The first floor of the tower was a vast, empty expanse dominated by an array of ornate, ancient mirrors. These mirrors were no ordinary objects; they were imbued with powerful enchantments that allowed them to detect any intrusion into the Time Guardians' realm. The mirrors reflected not just the physical form of anyone who approached but also the essence of their intentions and presence.

For the Time Guardians, the mirrors served a dual purpose. They provided an unerring method to detect intruders, capturing their reflections in ways that revealed their true nature. Intruders could not see their own reactions or the effects of their presence, but the mirrors would capture every nuance, allowing the Guardians to respond swiftly to any threat. The reflective surfaces were a constant reminder of the guardians' vigilance and the importance of maintaining the sanctity of their domain.

The Second Floor: The Hall of Living Nightmares

-Descending to the second floor, one would encounter a darker and more foreboding atmosphere. This level was inhabited by lesser shadows known as the Living Nightmares. These entities served as both sentinels and messengers, utilizing the realm of dreams to communicate warnings and messages.

The Living Nightmares were ethereal beings capable of infiltrating the dreams of mortals, sending them visions of dread and forewarning. Their purpose was to alert other celestial entities or the Time Guardians themselves of potential disruptions or threats. This floor was a labyrinth of shifting shadows and haunting whispers, a place where the line between reality and nightmare was blurred. The second floor's unsettling ambiance was a testament to the Guardians' commitment to their duty, utilizing fear as a tool to preserve balance.

The Third Floor: The Domain of the Twelve

-The third floor was the heart of the Time Guardians' operations. This was where the twelve guardians resided, each assigned a unique and crucial task in maintaining the cosmic order. The floor was a grand hall, filled with intricate designs and celestial maps that displayed the complex tapestry of time and space.

Each of the twelve guardians had a specific role, ranging from overseeing the flow of time in various dimensions to managing the interactions between different celestial entities. They worked in concert to ensure that the delicate balance was preserved and that any anomalies or breaches were swiftly addressed. The third floor was a hive of activity and strategy, where the guardians coordinated their efforts and shared their insights.

The Fourth Floor: The Time Manifestation Table

-At the very top of the tower lay the fourth floor, a place of profound significance. This level housed the Time Manifestation Table, an ancient and powerful artifact that was central to the Guardians' control over time. The table was a colossal, intricate construct, its surface etched with symbols and patterns that represented the threads of time and their interconnections.

-It was here that the Time Lord, Gersong, resided. Gersong was the supreme ruler of the Time Guardians, overseeing their operations and ensuring the stability of the cosmic order. The Time Lord's presence was both commanding and enigmatic, a figure of immense power and wisdom who maintained the equilibrium between the realms. The fourth floor was a place of solemn authority and deep contemplation, where decisions of great import were made and the future of the cosmos was shaped.

Leegna once again troubled was seeking from help, from no other but Yuj himself, he wanted to know how to deal with them and if it's possible to go to their realm
