Dear Diary,
Hello, how are you? It was my first day of school today. It was all right, except for Mahafuz. I really care about her, dear diary. You are aware of my habit of joking. She can make fun of me, but she can not stand it when I make fun of her. How can she do that to me? Furthermore, Hamza spends more time with her than with me. Then she keeps saying that there is not time to talk because we are so busy. She does not realize, though, that she is the one who does not have time for me. Every time I speak with her, she asks, "What is it? You talk for twenty-four hours!" Everyone has feelings and a heart, and she is unaware that she is not the only one.
I simply want her to understand that she should not harm anyone if she wants no one to harm her. You get back what you put in, right? I have always genuinely considered her my friend. However, she never prioritizes me. I recall being ten years old and tense when she was upset because our teacher had reprimanded her for being irresponsible. I did everything I could for her. So why am I alone? I have never treated her rudely. Unexpectedly, I gave her items that held special meaning for me, such as the paperweight and the bracelet. Even though I could have kept those things to myself, I decided to give them to her instead.
Yours,
Farheen.
