Race For The Scroll!

-Month 3 of 4, August 25th, 2024-

(Within the mountains of Japan, away from the modern civilization, Henry was seen scaling Mount Tanzawa as he then admiring the views as he inhales deeply then exhales, enjoying the fresh air along with such a mesmerizing atmosphere of green and white across the distance.)

"Henry: ...It's so beautiful out here. Am I really going to find it here? It would even feel wrong to just bother this wonderful scenery..."
"???: I know right...?"

(Standing next to Henry admiring the view herself is a female adventurer with a slight smile on her face but began to shed a tear of joy, insinuating that she is in love with the view at the very top of Mount Tanzawa.)

"???: Nowadays, you don't see anyone come out here to enjoy the view, it's just majestic.."
"Henry: I heard about the many mountains that were just as majestic as Tanzawa."
"???: You're not wrong at all, especially if you climb to Mount Fuji."
"Henry: Sounds like you've been there before?"
"???: Once. I've destined to go back there, but with a special someone."
"Henry: Hopefully you'll find that someone."
"???: Yeah, I hope so too... Though, I take it you're here for a hidden piece of treasure within the mountains, right?"
"Henry: ...Saw right through me, you're smarter than you look."
"???: Heh.. How about a little race? First to the Tanzawa Scroll?"
"Henry: Sounds like a lovely little challenge. But I'm gonna win."
"???: Are you now? We'll see who's quicker.."

(With a flash step out of sight, the woman vanished as Henry then expected a flash step while he takes his time walking back down the mountain. After a while passes, Henry would then enter a pile of leaves after walking out into the forest before pushing his foot back, revealing a hidden hatch... Henry would then climb into the hatch as it closes on itself, allowing nature to conceal it's existence. As Henry then successfully goes underground, he would begin running through the lightened hallways as he mapped out the shortcut to the gem during their time in Japan the first time. With Henry then hearing the sounds of rushing water at the end of the tunnel, he would then jump and skydive deeper down the hole, holding onto his father's hat while he dives at a fast speed, entering the hidden chambers far beneath Mount Tanzawa.)

"Henry: It's as I predicted, it's glorious down here..!!"

(As Henry then continues to freefall, he would notice six specific chambers boarded off as he'd waste no time to choose the correct door. Henry would then release his Retractable Whip, releases two powerful swings before it extends towards the wall, a stone-cutting blade opens at the tip of the whip and anchors itself to remain stationary after piercing through the stone, allowing Henry to use the strength in his legs to kick through the boarded pathway, debris of rotting wood flying past Henry as he'd retract the whip back, keeping it in his hand in case of any incoming threats.)

"Henry: Phew... That was fun! It's been a while since I even freefallen like that..."

(With Henry then approaching completely darkness in the tunnel he's walked toward, he would then continue to walk in the dark and rely on his instinct and sound... While things sounded too quiet inside the tunnels, Henry would then use the Retractable Whip to generate sparks forward where he walks, revealing a dropped piece of wood but coated in blood.)

"Henry: Whoa.. So someone was down here before?"

(As Henry then uses the discarded wood, he would light a match he's kept close by, igniting the wood on fire to use as a torch as he then took one closer look and notices a scarred and clawed adventurer as it's corpse was severely decaying day by day.)

"Henry: Holy shit, this guy must've been down here for years... How did you survive down here?"

(He'd then search through the bag of the adventurer, collecting what could be needed for the search for the gem. What Henry came across as useful was the adventurer's journal as he reads through it, specifically only on what the adventurer's learned throughout his search to the Tanzawa Scroll. Luckily, there was a much faster way than he's realized by going through this tunnel. As Henry then gives the deceased adventurer a proper burial to avoid decaying any further above ground.)

"Henry: May you rest in peace and thank you for showing me a faster way to the gem, I hope you were a fantastic adventurer in your time."

(As Henry then rushes down the tunnel with the flaming wood and the journal, Henry would then follow what the journal stated and turns left immediately, going upstairs to a steel locked door. As Henry realized the book was right, he'd place the flaming wood down and the journal in his belt pouch. With the right grip onto the steel handle of the door, Henry would twist the handle left and right before pulling the handle, opening the door with the strength he has in his arms, a yellow light shines across his face as Henry was then revealed to the endless treasures of wealth, gold as far as the eye could see!)

"Henry: Wow... So much gold everywhere! Man if Mike was here, he would've took as much as he could..."

(As Henry continued to run to the gem which according to the journal was nearby, Henry would then swing hook to hook with the Retractable Whip before swinging past another stairway, catching Henry's attention, he would stop swinging and walk up the stairway, hearing another roar of rushing waters. With Henry then at the top of the stairs, he would then see the marble white pedestal and inside surrounded by triple layered bulletproof glass was the Tanzawa Scroll, an artifact left behind by ancient ones who first gazed upon the view at the top of Mountain Tanzawa.)

"Henry: Its there... The scroll is actually here..! No more time to waste!"

(As Henry quickly rushes up the stairs, unlocks the glass and carefully holds the scroll in his hands, he would then count to three before opening it, shocking him in the face that the scroll is a blank. Full of confusion, a whistle caught Henry's attention as the maid woman whom is sitting atop the waterfall appears to have the actual scroll in her hands, the golden colored ends proving it's officiality.)

"???: Looking for this?"
"Henry: H-How..?"
"???: Trust me, when you've traveled the world and gained the smarts of a genius, any and every treasure is yours for the taking."
"Henry: ..Damn it! Next time, I'll be quicker than you..!"
"???: Next time? I'd like that, this was fun after all."
"Henry: Huh?"

(As another hatch opens underneath the waterfall, a ladder was sent down as an airborne helicopter was picking up the maid.)

"Henry: ..Wait! Who even are you..?"

(In response to Henry's question, she would then throw a card with her name and phone number.)

"Neriah Dalmana (Maid & Head Archeologist Of The R.I.A.A): Dalmana! But, call me Neriah! I'll see you again sometime, Indiana!"

(As Neriah then escaped with the scroll, Henry would then sit down at the top of the stairs of the pedestal, chuckling with a small smile as he then looked up at the open hatch.)

"Henry: Yeah. I'll see you again sometime, Neriah."
