Briefing

Oh no, I forgot to ask the commander where they were. Well then, let’s go to our hanger and if they aren’t there, I will call my XO. I really hope they are there because I need to do the briefing and it takes up our time and now we don’t have much. There is another thing which is bothering me. I don't really know and I think I hardly ever met First. Lieutenant Federica Lopzi and her squadron the White Hawks. So I hope they will be friendly and not acting cocky. I am also afraid of how they will respond to my orders because my squadrons know sometimes I give absurd orders but they know they are always successful. Let’s take a look at my watch. Oh shit I only have 10 mins to do the briefing. I see I need to run now to the hangars.

“The captain will be here soon so everyone take your seat before the briefing starts.” Well I never met him so I am a bit scared how he handles things and what he is like. I have been in the air force for a long time now but I never met or made conversation with him. I didn't even know he existed. His squadron seems really helpful, mature and they are experts. I am going to ask for their names and their call sign.
“Pleased to meet you. I am First. Lieutenant Federica Lopzi and my call sign is White Hawk-1. What is your name and your call sign?”
“Nice to meet you! I am First.Lieutenant Markus Zöhn, my call sign is Phoenix-2 and I am the Executive Officer of this squadron.”
“Nice to meet you Ma,am!” My name is Albert Keln, my rank is Warrant Officer and my call sign is Phoenix-3.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you! I am Warrant Officer Emily Plozt and my call sign is Phoenix-4.” The First. Lieutenant seems really nice to me so I hope there will be more joint operations with them.
“Nice to meet you. Last but not least, I am Senior Master Sergeant Sarah Hold and my call sign is Phoenix-5.” I hope will be on good terms with this squadron because not many squadrons like us because we are an ace squadron or you could call us real pros.

“Let me introduce my squadron as well. This is Second. Lieutenant Daniel Krutz his call sign is White Hawk-2 and he’s my Executive officer. She is Master Sergeant Victoria Hulf and she is White Hawk-3. Her name is Patricia Röt, her rank is Senior Airman and she is White Hawk-4. My last member name is Emma Quzi her rank is Airman First Class and her call sign is White Hawk-5.”
“This concludes the introductions.” I hope the captain will be here soon.

“The door is opening, everyone attention!” Finally he is here.
“At ease! Everyone take a seat. I don’t know if you know me or not but I will introduce myself. I am Captain Julius Fernd and my call sign is Phoenix-1.” Well they are really organized. This is a good sign.
“Let’s start this briefing, I will be really fast because time isn’t on our side now. Several bombers and fighters are coming to this way and we need to protect this base and the country so our task will be to shoot down every bomber. Ah and second in command will be First. Lieutenant Federica. Any question?
“No, sir!” This is good now only we need to take off.
“Everyone get to your plane! Start it up and wait for further orders.“

"Yes, sir.”

This will be quite a fun ride.
