Mary closed her eyes, easily drifting away into her mind.

Meanwhile, Tatsuya and Nagata had arrived back to the island via an oddly designed mirror where they found themselves in Tatsuya's basement.

"I'm not sure I'll get use to that chief." Moaned Nagata.

Tatsuya responded, "None of us will."

The duo went back upstairs where they found the whole living room in chaos as everything had been rummaged through and misplaced as well as violent claw marks on the ceiling, on the wall and on the carpets.

Nagata blurted "What the f-" before him and Tatsuya were attacked what were known as Enbryiods that are pre-enigma beings that require hosts to survive and furthermore shapeshift into their Enigma forms.

Tatsuya and Nagata struggled as they tried freeing themselves from the grasp of the Enbryiods when suddenly, they stung at the leg by the Spider-Enigma that had shrunken due to Zukafu's lightning bolt.

And due to the sting, it allowed the Enbryoids to go onto the aggressive and used Tatsuya and Nagata's body to shapeshift. They screamed and resisted but it was too late as they were now cocoons with their bodies in a static position but it was covered in a black casing that appeared removable.

The Spider-Enigma splurted out something in human language, saying "Exlent!" Before it grabbed them and took them above the sky.

Mary woke up, appearing frightened. She stood up and looked at her arms and her hands, feeling as if she felt something happen to her. After realising that she was okay, she sighed with relief.

She got up and looked at the clock which read 7:55 AM and upon reading this, she remained neutral since today was a school day.

Unlike many of the students, Mary and her friends never seem to care about being on time and tend to arrive at around 5 to 25 minutes late, much to their teachers annoyance.

She got up and went to the living room where she found Zukafu sitting at the table with breakfast beside him. There were black holes circling around his eyes, indicating that he hadn't slept which puzzled Mary as he was previously sleeping the night before.

Seeing Mary, he moved the plate in her direction and said "You best, unless you want to arrive late." With annoyance in his tone.

Mary sat down and said "Thank you."

She then lifted her knife and fork and ate the breakfast, after thirty minutes she got up and returned to her room where her uniform was already prepared for her. She looked at Zukafu who appeared braindead and believing that he wouldn't look, got changed.

She exited the room and said to him, "Shall we head out?"

Zukafu stood up, his expression remaining the same, saying "Lets..."

The two then left the house and followed the trail to where Zukafu was leading to Mary and at the end of the road, she was baffled to see the same oddly designed mirror in front of her.

She asked "What are we-" but suddenly, Zukafu grabbed her hand. "Hey, what are-"

Zukafu then interrupted her, saying "Hang tight!"

He then raised his fists and bluntly punched the mirror in the middle, breaking in high volume. The mirror shattered and doing so, began to glow dark purple. Mary and Zukafu were then sucked into the mirror.

As they travelled through the mirror, Mary screamed while Zukafu remained calm.

Upon reaching the end, Mary found herself and Zukafu in Tatsuya's basement, this leaving her bewildered in how that was possible.

Zukafu let go of her hand and said "Lets get going, we're already late as it is."

Zukafu reached the stairs and towards the door and upon opening it, he found the room to be clean which made him suspicious for some reason. Mary tried to move but she began to experience uncomfortable stomachaches, likely caused by travelling through the mirror.

Zukafu, noticing this, sighed and carried Mary on his back before the wearyness of the stomachache died out. On their way out, Mary noticed a little tear on the carpet that appeared to be sewn back together but she didn't pay much attention due to her stomachache.

A couple of minutes in, Mary said "I think the pains going away so you can get off me!" In a brisk tone as she saw her friends nearby and not wanting to get the wrong idea, she got off his back. "You go on ahead, I'll catch up."

Zukafu already knew that her friends were nearby and instead of convincing her to come with her, he instead answered "Whatever." In a cold manner. Zukafu walked off to school while Mary's friends joined her.

Arriving at the school, Mary and her friends were stopped by the teacher and were immediately scolded again by them.

Mary saw Zukafu who had shockingly arrived to the school late, outside the gate. The teacher saw him and immediately, they let him inside without even lecturing him which didn't surprise Mary's friends.

After being scolded and it reaching break time, Mary asked her friends regarding their reaction to Zukafu entering the school despite being late and not being scolded.

Yuno puzzled answered "Didn't you know? That 'Nunya' is part of the film club and is regarded as the school's DIT or whatever that means and I heard that the teachers rely on him to get any footage they need from him to be accessed easily."

"How'd you know this?" Asked Mary, surprised to even be learning about Zukafu's job.

Yuno answered "Like I said, rumours." Before she took a puff of her smoke. She then asked "Say, have you seen Charao? That guy's been quiet for some reason and doesn't want to hang with us! Its kind of annoying."

Out of nowhere, the alarm goes off, indicating another Enigma attack. All the students and teachers gathered hastily to the school gymnasium.

Upon arriving, Mary had found Zukafu sitting at the corner edge of the gymnasium where Charao was beside him with a bandage around his arm which was odd to her as she saw him without earlier in the morning.

He said, "I'm freaking out man!" While he shook uncontrollably, "I've been hearing that its TWO Enigma's this time!"

"Calm down dude!" Said Zukafu bluntly, "Luna and Naoya can handle this I know it."

Meanwhile, Naoya and Luna were already at the location where they found the two cocoons hovering above. They began to grunt in pain as the cocoons took form.

One resembling a lion and the other resembling a scorpion. From inside, both Tatsuya and Nagata were grunting in pain as they were unwilling hosts, it mean that they were being drained to death.

"Lets do this sis." Said Naoya, pumped for action.

Luna said passionately "Way ahead of you bro!"

Without seconds, Naoya and Luna sprung into attack as they each took care of one Enigma with Luna on Lion and Naoya on Scorpion.

Despite zero assistance from Zukafu, Naoya and Luna were able to deal with the two Enigma's and this battle was indeed challenging but the duo perservered in the end. The two Enigma's fell to the ground.

Luna and Naoya went to the root source and found Tatsuya and Nagata as they appeared almost husks. The things that attached to Nagata and Tatsuya dispanded as it suddenly began to take a life of its own and throw them to the side.

"What the hell is going on?" Asked Naoya, appearing shocked by what was going on.

"I haven't got a clue." Answered Luna, "It seems it only needed them for something but what could it-"

Before they knew it, the Spider-Enigma rose and absorbed the Lion-Enigma and the Scorpion-Enigma.

Luna said "Oh no." As she realised what was happening, "That Enigma wanted us to take out their hosts so that... It can merge!"

Naoya then said "So in other words, they've created a mega monster!"

Luna answered "Pretty much."

The two was faced with an abomination of an Enigma.

Meanwhile, down in the bunker, Mary began to feel her head hurting while Zukafu sensed that something wasn't right.
