Spectral Dancer - Mesuda Village Arc

As the wall fell Witz dodged to left while Honō and Selene dodged to the right. As Honō and Selene went to the right the bear with the metal aether lunged at them from the side slashing with now fully metal claws stained red from its own blood that it bled when Ash had cut its paws in half.

As the bear slashed at them, Honō parried each and every attempt at attack on either of them. While Honō deflected and parried the bear’s attack Selene flanked to the beast's side and poked the beast in its shoulder with her rapier which glowed a light blue energy.

When the tip of the rapier made contact with the beast’s shoulder it’s entire arm from the shoulder down became limp. As its arm went limp it began to struggle to keep balance as it had no way to keep its body stable as it slashed at the pair.

As Honō continued to parry the struggling beasts attacks he began to go on the aggressive by knocking the beast down with a slash to its chest in between the bears attacks. When the bears body hit the ground Honō jumped above the beast and dug his steel long sword, that Ash had made for him, into the beast’s chest as he descended upon it.

“How’d you make it’s arm go limp” questioned Honō curiously as he pulled his sword from the beast’s chest.

“I severed its soul's connection to its shoulder which in turn cut it off from the rest of it’s arm” answered Selene happily.

When Honō started to speak again another two beasts interrupted them before he could let out any words. As the beast charged at them, they split off one going for Selene and the other going for Honō.

The beast that charged at Selene began to sling mud at her who began to run towards the bear, as the mud neared Selene, she jumped over the attack and continued to dash at the beast. As Selene neared the bear it once more slung mud at her this time vertically to which Selene dodged off to the side to evade.

When Selene got right in front of the beast it began to slash at her. As the beast slashed at Selene, Honō continued to fight the other beast that had charged at him with its claws covered in magma.

As the beast charged at Honō, he began to coat his sword in electric frost before releasing two slashes of electric frost at the beast’s claws while saying “double glacial voltage”.

The slashes of electric frost continued to fly towards the beast’s claws when the bear slashed them causing its paw to explode into ice and instantly begin melting. The advantage in this fight was the beast’s due to fire based aether.

As the bear continued to charge at Honō it began to raise its claws as it closed in on him. When the beast started to bring its claw down on him, Honō sighed as he spoke,

“Todays not a great day, nothings going as planned, so just die already”

As the words came out his mouth he disappeared to behind the beast in a blue flash, as he appeared behind the beast a crimson spray of red came from the bears neck as its head began to fall from its body.

While Honō stood behind the now dead beast he looked over at Selene to see if she needed any assistance with the bear. What he saw was different from what he expected, what he saw was Selene dodging every attack the beast threw at her in what looked like nearly a dance.

As Selene danced around the beast she began to poke all the bears joints until the beast was left immobile. While Selene stood in front of the immobile beast she began to speak gently

“May your next life be more peaceful”

“Soul pierce”

As Selene said this, she placed the even brightly glowing tip of her rapier to the chest of the beast, as it made contact the beast died instantly and painlessly.
