Episode 6

“I think we got separated from the others.” Eru said to Shin as she looked left and right at the big crowd, hoping to spot their friends.

There are too many people in the amusement park today, as expected, because it’s the weekend. As Eru kept looking around, she bumped into someone and was about to get swept away into the crowd but-

“You’re such a handful.” Shin grabbed Eru’s hand and then pulled her closer to his side.

“Sorry about that.” Eru said, looking down. She was about to let go of Shin’s hand when suddenly, Shin tightened his grip on Eru’s hand

“Uhm? You can let go now.” Eru said, a bit confused at Shin

“I’m not letting you go of your hand in this kind of place. Besides, we had already separated from the others. It’d be best to not get separated again, right?” Shin explained as the two friends started walking while holding hands. Eru nodded in full agreement.

“Also…” Shin was about to say something

“Hmm?” Eru looked at Shin, and she noticed Shin’s ears were a bit red

“Don’t be sorry, you’re worth the trouble.” Shin finally worked up the courage to say what’s on his mind

Eru was startled by this then she immediately smiled at him, and Shin couldn't help but smile back.

“C’mon. Let’s go find the others.” Eru suggested as she quickened her pace in walking, pulling Shin’s hand with her, but then Shin stopped on his feet. Eru got worried and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Do we have to? I mean, we’re in an amusement park on a weekend for crying out loud.” Shin whined as he scratched his cheek shyly, hoping Eru got what he was implying: To go on a date

After hearing this, Eru couldn’t resist but let out a chuckle. This time, Eru tightened her grip on Shin’s hand.

“I guess going on a few rides won’t hurt, but after that, let’s find the others, deal?”

Eru suggested as she winked at Shin, who was now trying his very best not to hug Eru, Instead, he raised his other hand because he was pleased at his victory

“Deal.”

“Aren’t they taking too long?” Veena worriedly pointed out as she took a bite of the Takoyaki that Shion was feeding her.

It seems Ayumi and Bleex got tired of the rollercoaster. It’s Bleex who got tired of it. Ayumi just took pity on him and agreed to try something else. So, they tried the Haunted House. But as Veena just said, they are taking too long to get out.

“The f*ck do you think they’re doing?” Ze impatiently wondered as he kept tapping his foot, hoping his patience doesn’t run out and Ayumi and Bleex better get their asses outside of the Haunted House

“Do you think it would be the classic ‘I’m scared! Please hold me! Cliché That’s happening right now?”

Angi wondered as well as she also took a bite of the Takoyaki that Shion was feeding her. Then, there was the very last Takoyaki, so Ze opened his mouth, assuming Shion would feed all three of them besides herself, but Shion ate the last piece to Ze’s disappointment.

“Tsk! So stingy!” Ze said his thoughts out loud

But Shion happily chews her food, completely clueless about what she did.

“Yikes! Imagining Ayumi clinging to Bleex because she’s scared somehow gives me goosebumps.” Shion said after gulping down her food.

But Veena shook her head showing her disagreement.

“No. That won’t happen.” Veena said as she handed Shion tissues because she noticed there was sauce near Shion’s mouth.

“Oh? Why is that?” Angi asked, intrigued at Veena’s disagreement

“Because it’s Ayumi in a Haunted House.” Veena said that got the other three confused

Veena knows Ayumi all too well

-Meanwhile in the Haunted House-

“You are an odd woman, to my surprise.” Bleex said as he facepalmed again at what Ayumi was doing.

“Woah! Is this make-up for real? How long does this take?” Ayumi asked the Haunted House staff who was dressed to scare them but clearly failed at his task.

The reason they take too long in the Haunted House is because Ayumi kept observing and being awed at each staff that’s meant to scare them so Bleex has no choice but to watch her. ‘Sheesh, she doesn't even flinch when someone pops out of the blue while here I am, resisting to scream in surprise.’ Bleex thought

“Huh…I didn’t take you as a horror fanatic.” Bleex said as the two picked up the pace in walking

“Why not? I can like what I like.” Ayumi said as she shrugged

“You have a point.” Bleex said to Ayumi, not watching his way when something got tangled with his head then when he removed it, he realized it’s a spider web.

‘Wait, that means-‘ Bleex thought

“Hey? Are you alright?” Ayumi said as she waved her hand at his face

As Bleex expected, there are spiders on the web.

“AAAHHHH!!!” Bleex screamed, which made Ayumi scream as well.

“There they are!” Eru said as she pointed at her friends. Finally, they’re united.

After a few rides, Shin kept his end of the deal. Now, he’s grumbling while being pulled by Eru’s hand, trying to get closer to their friends.

“Where have you two been all day? We were worried!” Veena said as she ran off, about to give Eru a hug but got stopped by Ze, grabbing her collar at the back.

“Damn! I don’t get why you are still asking when you were the one who said they’re on a date!” Ze said, resisting to roll his eyes.

“W-who’s on a d-date? You f*cker!” Shin stumbled on his words as he glared at Ze.

“Dude, you’re fooling no one here, especially if you keep on holding Eru’s hand this whole time.” Ze pointed at Shin and Eru’s hand, still holding each other, but the two quickly let go. Shion and Angi can’t help but squeal from a distance.

“Okay, enough of that.” Veena said, clapping her hands to get their attention.

“I think they’re on their last ride right now. Something must have happened in the Haunted House, seeing that the atmosphere of Ayumi and Bleex during lunch time was kind of heavy. So, I hope their time in the Ferris Wheel will make them talk it out.” Veena shared her theory, which made her friends nod in agreement, but Ze is giving her a different look. Veena eyed him as if saying ‘What?’

“Well, I’ll be damned. For someone who has a trashy sense of direction, you awfully have a great sense in these types of situations.” Ze bluntly blurted out as he snickered at Veena. With this, Veena could not resist but shout at him.

“Rude!”

-Meanwhile in the Ferris Wheel-

‘The silence is killing me.’ Ayumi thought to herself. She’s seated across from Bleex in the Ferris Wheel. Apparently, after what happened in the Haunted House, Bleex has been quiet this whole time. He didn’t even say a word when they ate lunch in the nearby food stall. They’re about to reach the apex of the Ferris Wheel, and Bleex remains quiet. When Ayumi couldn’t take it anymore and was about to speak up, Bleex beat her to it.

“Why are you not laughing?” Bleex asked, finally looking at Ayumi. He had been looking at the view outside this whole time, but right now, he finally turned his head at Ayumi.

Hearing his question, Ayumi tilted her head to the side in confusion.

“Why should I laugh?” Ayumi asked back at Bleex. ‘C’mon! You’re not acting like a crazy flirt, and it’s scaring me!’ Ayumi kept her thoughts to herself, clearly weirded out at Bleex who was being serious right now.

“It must be laughable that there’s a guy who’s scared of spiders and bugs.” Bleex said as he confessed his weakness to Ayumi. He’s so nervous about exposing his secret that he keeps on shaking his legs. Ayumi realized Bleex’s nervousness then she looked at the view outside. Looking at the pretty landscape from above made her smile.

“I’m not going to laugh at you. Like I said before, I can like what I like, so you can dislike what you dislike.” Ayumi reassured Bleex, and she realized Bleex had stopped shaking his legs.

“I’ll join your club.” Bleex said out of the blue, and that caught Ayumi completely by surprise.

“Thank you, Bleex.” Ayumi just realized this was the first time she called him by his name, and for once, it felt okay.

“No problem. Thank you, Ayumi. I’m sorry I screamed earlier; that startled you. I can’t believe I did that in front of a delicate and pretty lady.” Bleex said as he shook his head in disbelief

‘Aaaand he’s back. A crazy flirt, indeed.’ Ayumi thought as she facepalmed. With that, the date finally ended, and AWU Alliance gained another new member, however flirtatious he may be.
