Mary walked up to Zukafu where he greeted her. She said "Hey Zukafu..." her eyes then turn to Ema with her efforts to hide her envy but she continued to greet her saying, "Hey Ema... Is there a reason you two are..."

Zukafu explained "Ema wanted to come with us. She wanted to-"

Ema then covered Zukafu's lip, not wanting him to say it out in the open.

"Don't say it out loud!" Shrieked Ema. 

"Its okay Ema." Said Mary, having a sigh of relief. She continues saying, "Its nice to see that you're taking my advice... Come on, lets go see Tatsuya."

Mary expresses a smile and grabs Zukafu's arm and with Ema, they leave the school building. From the top of the building, Yuno watched them as they left with her eyes appearing wide and sharp, giving a murderous vibe.

The three arrive at the nearby hospital where they find Tatsuya and Nagata leaving the building, appearing completely healed.

"Tatsuya!" Said Mary. She waved to her brother.

Tatsuya and Nagata approached Mary, Zukafu and Ema and says "Hey sis, what brings you here?"

Mary lightly punched her brother on the shoulder, also expressing a light chuckle. She says "Very funny..."

Tatsuya looks at Zukafu, his expression changing upon seeing Zukafu's 'true' expression. He walked up and asked "Hey Zukafu, how you been?"

Zukafu answered "I'm okay... I guess." With his same monotone manner.

Tatsuya nodded his head, his face showing signs that he knew something that nobody else knew or at least, a very limited number knew.

Ema takes out her gift for Tatsuya and was about to tap on his shoulder but she began trembling as she had a crush on Tatsuya and upon seeing this, Mary decided to help and goes next to Ema.

She then says "Hey bro..." Tatsuya turns to Mary and Ema, Mary continues "Me and Ema wanted to do something nice for you, when you got out..." Mary signals Ema to give Tatsuya the gift.

And with hasteful confidence, Ema hands the gift to Tatsuya which he takes. He opens the gift and appears delighted upon seeing that Ema had made him a scarf which was detailed with things that he liked.

"Wow you guys." Said Tatsuya, "This looks amazing! Thanks!" Tatsuya puts on the scarf and puts on a short fashion show as he asked Nagata "How do I look?"

Nagata stays silent before he answers with zero confidence "It looks... great?" Tatsuya lightly hits Nagata in the head. "Ow!"

"Gee thanks." Said Tatsuya. He turns to the girls and says "Thanks again girls!" He then asked Ema, "Why don't you come join us at our house? I'd like to treat anybody who befriends my little sis..."

"Bro!" Said Mary, feeling embarrassed.

Excited, Ema answers "I'd love to!"

"Then its settled... Lets get going." Said Tatsuya as they walked away from the hospital building.

Throughout the journey to Mary's home, Tatsuya's attention was mostly focused on Zukafu while Nagata was speaking with Zukafu. Mary and Ema kept a distant between each other as Mary felt annoyed while Ema was getting flustered.

After a couple of minutes later, the group arrive to the Amano residence and they all entered inside, all except Mary as she was surprised to see Yuno waiting for her outside.

"Yuno?" Said Mary, "What are you doing here?"

Yuno responded salty "I should be asking you the same thing! Where were you at school?!"

Mary answered "I was in class!"

Yuno becomes annoyed by this as she says "Class? Class?! Are you fricking kidding me?! I'm up there at the roof, bored out of my mind and with nobody there, NOT EVEN my best friend showed up, I had to do piss all!"

Yuno slowly begins calming down and apologises saying, "I'm sorry... Its really frustrating without having you around... You- I- Well-" Yuno struggles to get her point her around to which she turns around and says "I'll see you at school tomorrow." Yuno then walks away into the shadow.

Mary tries to catch up to her but Tatsuya calls her for her, forcing her to hurry back inside.

Yuno walks across the streets at night and immediately, she feels uncomfortable as she feels a disturbing presence. And then from behind, a figure appears behind her and says "You'll have to do."

They then lunge themselves onto her, their body coming into contact with her skin. Yuno attempts to free herself but unsuccessful as she violently screams before they go silent.

Yuno opened her eyes and found the figures face exposed with a hand jammed through their face. She looks up and finds Zukafu with his sociopathic face staring at the face that he ran his hand through.

Yuno looked at her body and found that it became green and that her clothes had been torn, causing her to push the dead corpse and Zukafu away from her and cover her body with her arms.

She looked at her arms, realising that her skin had partially changed as the colour of the skin was now a mixture of both her normal skin, which was beige, and the colour of light purple, which the attackers hands were covered in.

"What the f-" said Yuno, speechless to what she was seeing on her skin.

Then disturbingly, the purple mixture of her skin began to move in a way that an hyperactive black sea worm would move, making Yuno trembling.

And therefore, she attempted to remove whatever it was that was on her skin but she was horrified to learn that it was connected into her skin, meaning she couldn't remove it.

"Oh my god!" Yuno said. "It won't come off! IT WON'T COME OFF!" Her voice becoming paranoid and because of this, Yuno began shrieking uncontrollably while the purple worm-like skin began to move around, further enhancing Yuno's paranoia.

Then, Zukafu got up and dashed to Yuno and grabbed her arm, causing Yuno to shriek "What the hell are you-" but Zukafu stopped her, telling her to shush.

Zukafu placed the tip of his nails firmly into the purple part of Yuno's skin, and not surprisingly, Yuno experienced slight pain as she started to tearing up.

Zukafu assured her saying "Don't worry, it'll only take a couple of minutes." And after saying that, he then pressed down on the skin with extreme force, causing Yuno's body to act uncontrollably as her other arm slapped Zukafu in the face.

She asked "What the hell was that?!" As she regained control of her arm, "It felt like lightning had just struck inside me!"

Zukafu answered "I'm afraid those answers will have to wait." He then stands up and takes his jacket off and places it onto Yuno. "Come, theres a doctor that can get rid of these Enigma parasites inside you."

"Wait-" said Yuno, "You're saying that I've got-" she appeared as if she was about to hyperventilate and even vomit, "Something inside me?!"

"Short answer, yes." Said Zukafu bluntly. Yuno started to hyperventilate but Zukafu said to her, "Don't do that."

"Don't do what?" Asked Yuno.

"What you're doing..." said Zukafu, "You're hyperventilating..."

"Well obviously!" Shouted Yuno, she then exclaimed, "I have something inside me and-"

But Zukafu again stopped her as she shows him what he had done. He said "look..." Yuno then looks down on her shoulders and sees the 'parasite' has stopped moving, he then explained "They're paralysed but it won't last long and any hasty movement may cause the paralysis to wear off."

Yuno was left amazed by what she was witnessing from Zukafu and curiously, she asked "Who are you?"

Zukafu answered "I'm Takehaya."

THE NEXT DAY

Mary waited at the school gate and she saw Yuno and was about to approach her but she stopped upon noticing that she was walking alongside Zukafu, causing Mary to grow curious.

Mary walked up to them but upon being seen, Yuno ran to Mary and grabbed her arm, saying "Hey Mary!" With a bright smile on her face.

"Uhm, hey Yuno..." said Mary, with bewilderment in her expression.

"Why the long face?" Yuno asked.

Mary answered "You seem... different..." She then pulled Yuno aside and asked "You okay?"

"Yeah, why'd you ask?" Said Yuno.

Mary answered "I mean, you were acting a little upset yesterday and I kind of do owe you an apology for-"

But before Mary could finish, Yuno stopped her as she said "It okay! I was just having an episode but its okay now! Don't worry..." Yuno turns to Zukafu who had completely ignored the two.

She then looked back at the day before.

Zukafu carried Yuno on his back and walked away from the now disintegrating corpse and carried her to his friends clinic.

The friend proceeded to check on Yuno's body for other parasites and then minutes later, handed her a vial that when she drank, the parasites inside her began to form together before they reached to Yuno's fingernails where they would leave her body for good.

Afterwards, Yuno left the clinic with new clothes alongside Zukafu and there, she thanked him for what he did for her and she asked "Do you mind you can walk me home?"

Zukafu responded "Okay." And together they walked away from the clinic and bravely, Yuno held Zukafu's hand as she walked closer to him.

Returning back from the flashback, Yuno turns Mary around to face the school and says "Lets get going." Before she forces them to walk into the school, passing by Zukafu.
